locost7018
Love the top and doors. Where are they from? Car looks great. Keep the wheels black. Russ
S1Steve
Thanks Russ, Doors and top came with the S1's. Windows slide down inside the door, and the top can fold up into a t-top. Like the vettes and trans-am cars. It's a nice top, you still get wet when it rains, but I guess that's one of the joys of these cars. Mondo
Not normally a black wheel fan but I also think cars looks best with just two or three colors... black and orange go well. Looks good! I almost picked that color orange as I saw an Ultralite that color and loved it. Only problem was it was also in California and with less than a handful here I decided on black (and silver theme). jimrankin
The Orange needs something to offset it and the black wheels and top fit it to a "T". And with the top off the wheels will be an even more striking counterpoint.
turboeric
Thanks for the inspiration. The Westfield I'm building is orange and I was planning black wheels. Now that's certain.

Eric, If you look on Dick Brink's website, Texas Motorworks, the Birkin dealer . In the for sale section you will see a orange birkin with black wheels. Thats were my inspiration came from, and that I had this car ten years and am ready for a change. Have Fun with your Build,

pi7ot
The black will look good once it's dirty,to my taste. A Satin black as opposed to the gloss would look good as well. :cooldude: What Muffler is that? m
S1Steve
m, I would say it's built by Superformance... came with it... I would have liked Satin or even flat, but I had 5 cans of gloss in the garage.. To lazy to go to homedepot...lol Edited December 20, 2011 by S1Steve
