6 Sevens Committed to HYPERFEST at Summit Point June 16,17 2012 a NASA Mid Atlantic weekend.

Will you be there to join us? All level drivers invited for HPDE 1, HPDE 2, HPDE 3 and Time Trials.

Should cost about $365 for two track days with about 8,500 of your closest strangers as spectators. Dancing girls, roll over contests, go carts and more after dark.

Stay at the Hampton Inn in Winchester on Berryville Road about 12 miles from the track for $70 and night and a nice pool. Or camp for free at the track. Register asap when registration is open on http://www.nasaracing.net/ . Get your room ASAP also.

Commited drivers: Michael Dougherty, Folis Jones, Russ Strough, George Hillard, Jeff Duncan, Scott Lentz

COME ON OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN - with the guys from NJMP we should be able to get 17 to 20 Sevens on the track.

What is a hyperfest and how does it differ from a run-of-the-mill track day? I assume more competitive/less track time?

Mike, he highlighted the relevant part...

blah blah blah Dancing Girls blah After Dark blah.

k, now serious question Michael...

For Hyperfest, as a novice you have to carry an instructor, right? My car will be a single seater...

Good point Mazda. So let me add to my earlier question: Do the dancing girls ride with you, do they participate in the roll over contest, and how many of them do I have to roll to win:)?

Hyperfest is something to experience at least once. It's like a typical track day mixed with tons of spectators, girls, and drifting.

What happens if you are not registered with NASA - do you get shoved down into hacker land?

Karl are you really In? Great! Call Hampton inn on Berryville road now for your room.

Everyone will have to become a NASA member (if you are not already) $45 a year. Join your own area. NE, Mid Atlantic, etc.

I spoke wirh the chief insructor for NASA Mid Atlantic today. He will consider each new driver on a individual basis. If you have previoud track experience that places you in HPDE 3 you will likely be placed there. If not you may be placed in HPDE 2. Whatever level you are placed in, it is subject to your driving at thhat level. If not you could be moved to a lower level.

My experience is they are safety first yet fair. I have driven with many of you at NJMP and all of those drivers would be fine in NASA HPDE 3.

How about the rest of you? Follow Karl.

What else could be more fun that weekend?

I'd be happy to fill up the trailer with any items from those trailerless seven owners from New Jersey. The drive is about 5 hours for me from northern new jersey.

Cheap rooms are still available, act quickly!!!

For room reservations at the Hampton Inn on Berryville road in Berryvill call 540-678-4000. Ask for the Summit Point Event rate of $76 per nite. That includes breakfast.

Two registered so far. Folis stays in his mobile home. Russ sleeps in his trailer.

I beleive Summit Point caps it at 35 cars on track at one time. If we all sign up as soon as registration opens, we can all siign up for HPDE 3. George seems happy in HPDE 2. That said, Hyperfest sellsout fast.

Yes there is a circus element that comes with the drifter crowd in the spectators.

So Tom, when are you registering at the Hampden Inn?
