Philly Lotus Club and Bucks County Exotics had a blat and we stopped at ExoticarsUSA for lunch.

Exoticars always has a amazing collection of cars in their shop, and here we found Al's 7 ,

sitting in the shop getting some bugs worked out. It's a stunning car...

Wow thats good looking. Old school fenders and tires and wheels mixed with that simple, tasteful, and sharp paint scheme make it one of the better looking sevens I've seen lately. (I'd get rid of the BBQ grill though). The lack of a roll bar makes it seem even lighter and smaller than ever.

Steve, you've got a good eye for picking out very fine looking cars.

Thanks John, This is a Ferrari 206 Hill Climb Car, I really don't know to much about it.

I do know it's for sale for a million and change. This is one of my all time favorites.

It's sitting at Exoticar USA's showroom if you need to go drool on it....

Hardly, Steve is like the local neighborhood dog, he chases anything that moves! :jester:

What would you do in place of the BB! grill?

I wondered if someone would spot SB1341 among all the exotica over at Wil & Sandy's. Been tied up with my younger daughter's fencing this fall…but will definitely pick the car up in time to squeeze a few blats in before the weather truly turns.

Yeah, I think I can hold off that puny little Lotus on it's skinny tires. :boxing:

Heck I think I can hold you off for a few laps if I start out in front of you. :jester: The 100++ Hp difference doesn't bother me at all. We'll see this weekend. I'll have my camera pointing to the rear to document it.:jester:

I was looking at this thinking, "Man you just never see stuff like that in Cincinnati." And, there really aren't any car places that I know of here that have things like this sitting around for folk to come look at. But then again, within walking distance of my house (which is pretty modest all in all) are a Porsche and Maserati dealership, and a couple of blocks further down is Zakiras Garage which has done restorations for the Collier Museum in Fla. and at any given time is like visiting behind the scenes at the Smithsonian. A few years ago the Cincinnati Art Museum had a Ferrari P4 (from the days before aerodynamics made their influence on design) on display for a while, borrowed from a local collector just up the hill from me - which I went drool over, well, I don't think I actually drooled, but it took me days after the visit to get my concentration back to other stuff. I think, because of the conservative influence of its German heritage, this city just isn't into to showing off. An early jazz radio station here used to announce their call letters by saying "This is 740 AM Stereo WNOP, broadcasting from behind the sauerkraut curtain".

@transalpian: She's an E, earned at the Richmond NAC last April. She ended last season #12 on the NRPS list for Y12 WE (her first season of epee after starting with foil) and is currently T22 on the Y14 WE list. I will now step off my "proud dad" podium.

What club do your kids fence out of…HOF?

Totally off topic but I have to note a strange observation...

Al's last post was noted as being edited at 8:47 am today but my clock on my phone says it's only 8:10.

Just what time zone are we operating in?

Al would have to be somewhere out in the Atlantic Ocean for this to be true...
