IDreamOfChapman
I assume it must be custom. I like it... http://www.crankandpiston.com/on-the-road/caterham-superlight-r400-arming-the-weapon/
yellowss7
Looks a lot like the standard Caterham Roadsport hooped cage. I like the raked front hoop vs the taller one on my new cage. Tom

Croc
It looks to be the standard R300 one by Caged. I recognize it from climbing through the top enough times in the rental one I use overseas.

Sean
It looks to be the standard R300 one by Caged. I recognize it from climbing through the top enough times in the rental one I use overseas. Yep, it is. The one in the article appears to me to have some significant differences from the Caterham (Caged) one: Looks much shorter Side bar is different shape "Windshield" part is way more upright; less raked Different front pick-up point on the side Bottom of rear "hoop" does not bend back inboard Edited February 18, 2014 by Sean
IDreamOfChapman
Hmmm. Of course they are out of stock at caterham (and for imperial chassis probably never going to be available).
BruceBe
The cage in the article is *not* the SLR cage depicted on the white car earlier in this thread. It appears to be a modified/altered Roadsport cage. The SLR cage is tied into the tubular space frame at more points, while the Roadsport cage mounts at four primary points. The primary advantage of the Roadsport cage is the ability to mount a standard windscreen, which is not easily accomplished with the SLR competition cage. The door bars on the car in the article must have been added, or, it was a custom/unusual article from Caged. For those visiting the track on a frequent basis, I recommend starting with an SLR cage, and not worrying about fitting a standard windscreen. -Bruce
