Croc
An intriguing, arguably sevenesque vehickle (after quite a few drinks) http://www.ebay.com/itm/161440921603 A Velocity Exo Contour. 2.8 V6, 5 speed "tiptronic" out of a VW Passat. 1760 pounds with 190hp so a respectable power to weight ratio. Seats look comfy. Chunky rear tires. Not sure about the slab looking front view? Interesting car to check out. Current bid $10100 with reserve not met and 1.5 days to run. Croc
Speaking of Superformance owners, I just found this lovely specimen 1965 Superformance S-1 for sale in Wilmington DE. I have see this car in person at the Carlisle Kit car show back in 2009 (I think that was the year) - it was in beautiful condition then. He just changed the oil every 1000 miles or so. BT You can't do that here in the desert. If I leave my car outside for one day, it's covered with a fine dusting of decomposed granite. Sure it will run fine for a few thousand miles, but the rings and cylinders are wearing thinner. As far as performance is concerned, it's losing power compared to well designed intake runners. Those sharp edges at the carbs are cutting max power by at least 5%.

Think it is most likely the way it is titled that has this one going unsold for so long. Wonder if the wife would notice it suddenly appear in the back garage Bill S. Croc
The SV is a Caterham too! The SPF S1 is slightly narrower than an Caterham SV but wider than the Caterham S3. I fit in the S1 and I am a monumentally fat bastard so I would say go give it a try.

It's sad to part with my 1974 Lotus 7 S4 (The final final Original Lotus 7) Car. It is a Spec D Modified Race Car with a Formula (Lotus) Ford BDR 1700cc 16V (not A, R is more desirable) engine - tuned and setup for the street. The Engine is fully rebuilt with about a couple hundred miles on it and was rebuilt in the mid 90's, has the Firebottle system installed, Accu-pump Oil pressure system, Sump pump system, new battery, and a whole lot of other modifications - too many to list. I have most all of the receipts, restoration (body & engine) photos and also have many of the original and extra bits like the glass panels, top, side door panels, tire bracket in the rear, engine blanket, et al. Also, I'll throw in hoosier slicks (2 pairs) and wheels if the price is at asking. Currently the motor has a pair of Weber DCOE 45's and shifts really smooth. Car runs really strong. The frame is strait and no accidents. The car is sprayed in the GM Corvette Perl White with a few minor flaws. It's a lot of fun to drive around. Clear Colorado Title. My car is located in Denver. I got the "I'm on a research ship, you can send me a deposit and I'll get you in touch with my friend to finish the deal" response. I figured as much, given the price and the fact that the seller of the WCM Ultralite whose ad details were partially copied knows the value of such things and did not mention here that it was for sale. I did a google search on the picture in the craigslist ad and found where the craigslist scammer got his photos from: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191342767206

slimm
I was just thinking that the pictures looked exactly like the one that's been for sale in Ohio! Another CL dirtbag. A dirtbag, for sure; but, at least his prey is a wealthy first worlder who wouldn't miss it. Someone who would send $14k to an anonymous person somewhere unknown on the planet in hopes of buying a toy at a discounted price. (That is how this ends up if he hooks a fish). It annoys me because I know that the fish he hopes to land looks just like me and many board members here as far as age, sex, financial assets. I hate to think one of "us" is still naive enough to swallow the hook, line and sinker; but, it isn't impossible, so, these guys keep on fishing. They don't even have to invest in a boat, trailer, truck, tackle or beer for their sport !
