Thanks for the explanation. I find the fees very reasonable and this whole thing sounds like one giant bunch of fun. Credit goes to Tom & Mike who have spent countless hours organizing this event. It appears to be very well organized down to the smallest detail & will be remembered as one great event. I hope that Shane's daughter has a complete recovery but if he can't make it, it is certainly understandable. A better resolution would be to see him and the entire family with great big smiles on their faces at our event.

Klasik-69,

Thanks for the thoughts about my daughter. As for now, we are still sitting on GO for NJMP. I spoke with Mike earlier today and brought him up to speed on our situation and the possibile scenarios we are facing at this time. We are still hoping for picc line removal in mid-to-late June and no returning complications after coming off of the antibiotics. Hopefully, we should know something definite in a couple of weeks regarding our 'for sure' being able to make the trip. Again, all is looking good so far. :)

EvilRomeo, I have a VIP suite at the track I was going to use just to relax in since we have a room at the Fairfield. I only have it for Thurs thru Sat. If you like that I'll let you have it. It runs about $109/night.

Mike - Thanks for thinking of Roman. I was in touch with him last night. He is not the only one looking for accom and I think I have a share solution that I will work out Monday once get back into my office. Also, I am staying at an upstairs villa on track as they screwed up my garage construction timetable. That has a nice air-conditioned living room with sofas, dining are, cable TV, wifi, and kitchen overlooking the Thunderbolt circuit. I thought we could use that as a "ladies retreat" should anyone want to relax and chat somewhere comfortable.

If you mean where will we leave our cars at night, we usually leave them right in the Paddock area. The track is patrolled by security and Member day events are not like a typical open track day. We always leave our cars, helmets, Hans devices etc. when we go to lunch and there has never been an issue. We can look into possible inside storage, but Croc might have some ideas. Tom

The NJMP facility is patrolled 24 hours a day. People have left their cars in the pit unattended overnight without an issue. This includes Caterhams.

In theory I get access to my empty shell of an NJMP garage on June 18. It will be having a loft constructed but there is no reason why it could not hold 4 cars securely overnight during the long weekend as there will be no builders present. 1 spot is already taken. You and Jack will be spots 2 and 3. Shane asked as well so there is the 4th spot taken for him. Possibly I can squeeze a 5th car in but no guarantees right now until I can see the space while the loft is being installed.

I have an accommodation share solution for you Roman but I need the NJMP office to reopen Monday. It will be a 5 min walk on the NJMP property from the garage where you can keep your car. If this is too far then you can reserve a garage at the Thunderbolt pits overnight but this is unlocked (enclosed with garage door but still unlocked).

Roman - I will confirm things Monday or Tuesday next week but I think you are sorted.

Mike,

My trailer should be arriving next Wednesday, June 11. If this pans out (at this point, no reason it shouldn't) then I will have secure storage and can give up my spot that you have so graciously offered. I'll confirm as soon as it arrives.

Most tracks have 24 hour security so leaving cars at the track paddock area is never an issue. If weather is a concern, bring a tarp to cover the areas of concern using rope or bungie cords. I don't have any concerns leaving my car & trailer there. As usual, everyone in this group is gracious to help wherever and whenever needed.

Got it Roman! So we now have 2 Stalkers, 2 Superformance S1s, 14 Caterhams and 1 WCM Ultralight. That makes 19 sevens for the track.

Tom

Why do I feel slightly out numbered? :jester:

you feel out numbered???

LOL! Sorry, Roman. I missed this one.

Mike,

My trailer should be in hand by this evening; en-route to my location as I type. Feel free to farm out my reserved space at the Garage Mahal. Just a thought; Mario is trailering his Storker on an open trailer and I'm not sure what his plans are. He might be a possible candidate.

I just want to clarify to those looking at the motorsportreg.com site that you will not see everyone who has signed up for this event. The reasons for this is:

(a) NJMP members use a different web page to non-members (5 people)

(b) there are a number who are coming and notified/talked with me that they will be registering late as they want to time their credit card billing dates, moon phase, etc. (4 people)

© Visitors register offline

(d) Motorsportreg.com is a buggy website at times. It does not always show everyone who is registered. That is the case for at least 1 person right now.

So please do not assume that no one is coming by looking that the sign up pages. This should address the concern that was relayed to me overnight.

Cheers

mike
