Just got back from a short blat in the Locost. I was scouting out twisties to drive on. Does anybody have any desire for a Midwest Locost gathering in the Kansas City area late this summer or in the fall?? I will organize it if there are enough interested people. There are lots of things to do and see around KC. Would you like short or long trips in your car? Organized or self guided drives? One suggestion is the Labor Day weekend All British Car Show http://kcallbritish.tripod.com/ that we could do. The second weekend is the British car show in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and the third weekend of September is out for me. August is a killer because of the heat and July and June are too close. So what do you think?? Let me know if you are interested and what you would like to do. Russ
Tell us something about it. I notice your steering wheel is on the proper side. So is mine. Mine is a Locost made in the UK. Is it a locost or a real 7? looks like a real one, Russ
Here is where mine go. Out of site.

Got some lift off stainless hinges from McMaster Carr. Right and left sets. I think they were less than $20 total. going to weld up a frame like this guy's. www.groovy42.freeserve.co.uk
Also doing his top and already have his boot box and a foot rest/glove box similar to his. He has done some cool things, Russ
I haven't got this excited sence I had a Playboy subscription. Nice! Sometimes I wish I had bought a bike engine instead of a Miata to put in my car. Russ
How do they work?? I don't see a hinge. I am working on some full doors for mine and will hinge them off the upright. Haven't figured a way to latch them yet. Also working on a bikini top, Russ
