Noise cancelling headsets and intercom

I've been using AirPods Pro with mild success -
Those bigger center caps were offered on the Prisoner wheels and the another wheel type. I was hoping that they would be lazy and just have one mold so rolled the dice to see if they are the same myself. Was willing to bet they were. Alas they are not. I believe there were two generations of those. Completely fixed one piece metal mold, and a later one where the center '7' plastic plug is removable. prisoner And this style wheel

2005 Caterham Superlight R - NOW on Bring a Trailer

Certainly seems sold I believe it's in Canada now -
https://www.topgear.com/car-news/first-look/official-new-750kg-donkervoort-f22-supercar If you wanted a 7 ethos with no size limitations, bigger engine and modern amenities... it's perfect. It's the great evolution of the D8 GTO

Close but a swing and a miss for me this time. I'll wait for the traditional one in a new color scheme. The baby shirts however have caught the eye of some family members however..

It matters what you're trying to register. If its new its one thing. If it's older its another. If you have a regular Caterham title to begin with and its over 25 years you might not have problems at all. Typically no matter what you have to follow the emissions of the source engine for a custom vehicle or a kit.

Old picture. Roll bar is very much there =) So is an out of date harness... She'd need that updated if she decided to try it out in NJ NYST I believe is more lenient and more likely

My NA Miata. Used to be closest I could get to 7 experience before I owned it. Still own it. Still fun. Rarely gets used. Supercharger sitting for it in the basement. Will likely be used by the Mrs if she ever wants to do a track day to get her feet wet

My daily 2003 Volvo Xc70. Has been in the shop for about 2 years now being very passively swapped to a 6spd and R motor. Just waiting on finishes touches now. Car is perfect because it was cheap, unassuming and just luxurious enough to keep me happy with basic features like heated seats and leather and auto wipers etc. I use it as my truck as it's a wagon for the trips to home Depot and it's keeping me from needing to buy a truck. Tow with it as needed. Potentially planning to tow the enclosed trailer with the Caterham in it. In theory it should work. In practice? We shall see. It can tow in stock form upto 3300. Aluminum trailer and Cat should be under that and I have R brakes on it now and R motor and 6spd should give more threshold. It's got well over 200k miles on it and will get plenty more once swap is done as everything is replaced during the swap. Even if it can't do the trailer we will likely have a family SUV soon enough that will do the job

Nice! I'm pending a 4 post next year or so

I will have them painted to match my wheels if thats what you mean. It looks amazing! Question about your recess hole. In the final design will it be just a hole or a concave hall? I know you said you have limited material thickness to work with but it does need some sort of channel in order for the bolt to hold it in place. As you will see when you try it on, the angles of attachment start to do kinky things to the cap. Because of it is mounted on only one point, which is offset from center it's hard to set it up in a way where it doesn't force the opposite side to cantilever out. I can only imagine physics get even more wonky at high RPM rotations of the wheel with the single offset mounting point as well.

You guys are making me wonder if there is a bypass under my dash. I know for certain I don't need a chipped key to start it as I start mine with a cut metal blank spare.
-
Very strange. That certainly does look like an immobilizer.
-
Have I told you that you're my hero yet? I have no idea why but the vast majority of SLR's in the states don't have the center caps. I thought mine were lost over the years but the more and more examples I came across I saw that vast majority didn't have them, pending a few exceptions. I can only assume there were supply issues to begin with in England and US got the short end of the stick on the orders.

These key blanks are just metal, not chipped. I believe the replacement was something like Ilco47 and they are steel and not available in the US. For some reason my google-fu is failing me and I can't find a quick number to reference the key number from my notes. Even if you get a steel blank like I did, you will have a hard time finding a shop that does steel keys, most US keys are brass vs EU standard of steel. I found a brass match at the local locksmith and had to modify it in order for it to work. With that said my 2001 Zetec has an identical key and there's no chip in it. My experience with chips is they are half decent sized "pill" and require a bigger key package than what you have above in order to fit. I'd be very surprised if that key held a chip in it, but I've been wrong before. I don't believe your ignition reads for a chip either. If your car was build with an immobilizer it likely has a bypass key/chip permanently mounted in it as a bypass hidden under the dash which is what a lot of cars with remote starts do in order to be able to start the car remotely without a chip key not being present triggering a no start condition. Feel free to try to peel the plastic casing off to see if you have a chip or not. Edit: I don't know what phone you used to take that picture but that is a surprisingly sharp macro type picture of the key set.

Don't overthink the gasket. I got the proper one and it still didn't fit well. Looked for pictures in my thread but couldn't come across them, maybe I never posted them. Either way, DIY is better. Be careful with screws, you don't want to strip the aluminum. -
I've gotta Swap headlights to lower mounts and wire Swap headlights to CF Swap blinker pods to CF Send oil to blackstone labs Mount nose cone whiskers Finally setup the pops for tonneau cover Mount CSR fenders Mount new ITB velocity stacks De-cat the muffler

Poor poor NSX will be red headed step child right @NSXguy?

Thank you for that info. I'll be less concerned about new filter going unoiled. It was less than direct to find a replacement but ordered the same unit except they switched to plastic for inside structure now
