Years ago the aviation industry had issues with using Simple Green on aircraft parts. Since then Simple Green has modified the formula and markets a version that is okay with aluminum. I think it is Simple Green Aircraft and Precision Cleaner.

Thanks for all of this. I've been thinking of going with a 123 for my twincam to get rid of the Pertronix that goes from ignition to paperweight without warning.

I installed an AIM AFR on my twincam. Had a bung welded beyond where the two into one connection was. It works well, I'm just too illiterate to figure out how to log the data.
I wrote a long reply and then realized that it most likely didn't apply to your car. But in my car I can put a jack under the differential and lift it a bit to clear the prop shaft. My car is a live axle with an Ital differential and that may make a big difference.
I've removed my engine, and transmission, a few times and never had to remove the steering column. On the twincam I remove the headers and starter from the left side which gives me plenty of room. My car is a '82 Caterham S3.
These work well for hats

glacier type glasses that restrict peripheral vision may not be legal in all states. They are not legal in California.
Yes. I'm currently running 185/13's and they are very predictable and provide a nice ride. I don't drive in the rain and avoid sprinklers that are hitting the pavement.
I have R888's on my S-3 and like them. You might try shopping at Roger Kraus for tires that normal shops may not carry. They do carry street tires.

Ouch! Better yet, it's good it didn't happen in one of those traffic circles...
Assuming you are running 13" wheels how about this...

I have the DPR side mirrors and a panoramic Mirrors for Sevens mounted on the windshield. They all seem to work well together. I just tried to find the Mirrors for Sevens website but could not find it.,

Mine will likely stay home as I need to drive the truck to retrieve the RV I left up there after the Indycar race. I've not explored towing two trailers at once. But... I may have a couple of spare tickets to the Reunion.
