Well after waiting 4 months ATI has finally delivered the only set of 8 grove pulleys for a Honda S-2000 on the planet... Or so I'm told. I just hope everything fits like it is supposed to... I don't think I could stand to wait another 4 months.... Even the boxes look good to me after waiting for them so long.... Water pump pulley 2 idler pulleys alternator pulley the Harmonic damper and pulley and the (ARE) dry sump pulley on top of the harmonic damper.

Rob, I find that real driving shoes make a world of difference in these cars. My wife likes the Piloti's http://www.piloti.com/ I prefer the Sparco's http://www.saferacer.com/sparco-top3-racing-shoes.html?productid=746 Not a comfortable walking shoe though..... But we are not talking about walking.... Why walk when you can accelerate through life in a 7.....

That looks much better... I agree with you on the laser detectors... Not worth much. On our Excursion we run the Escort 9500ci... It was worth every penny I paid for it. It jams laser both front and rear..... And it works... I have been hit with laser over 15 times and no takers.... It is so funny to see the cop holding the gun on you... He will just keep holding on you till you blow by... Then they lower the gun and give you this weird look like... WTF ... I laugh every time... Some times I even wave at them... I Love It... In the Charger and the Corvette we ran the Blinder unit http://www.blinder.net/ 2 years in a row in the Fireball Run http://www.fireballrun.com (won it last year) My wife got hit with laser in excess of 100 mph (Bad Girl) She never even let off..... (bigger ball then me) Mojito will get the Blinder Extreme. Can't say enough about their unit. My 2 cents worth Cheers 7evin -

Here are a couple of links. Plastic boxes http://www.surplussales.com/cab-rackshardware/encl_3.html http://www.watertightcase.com/products.html http://www.pelican-case.com/ Roll bar mounts http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=ROLLACC As far as the wiring goes, they make tubing that has a sticky tape on one side that you can route your wiring through. I would wire into the ign hot side of the switch so that when you turn the key off the detector goes off. Cheers 7evin -
All great advice. I dream about driving my car at night.... Its just sick.... We started with a WCM ultralite S2K ( it has a honda S2000 2.2L motor that revs to 9k) 240 HP and we were go to supercharge it..... Well.... We drove this thing and it scared the living sh#$%t out of us.... 12 months later and superchager is installed pushing a little over 300 ponies to the rear wheels.... and.... the sickness has began.. Everyone that rides in it thinks we have mental problems. 12 months later.... We build another car with wings on it and 387 hp running on E85. We take 3rd place in the One Lap of America.... and people won't even get in the car because they are quite sure we have gone completely mad. The only saving grace is that my wife drives it... This year we had the engine completely retooled to handle 800 hp at the crank.... of course we will de-tune it to run somewhere in the neighborhood of 600 at the rear wheels.. THIS IS A SICKNESS.... But dam ITS FUN.... So why am I telling you this.... Buy or build a car with a powerplant and drive line that leaves you plenty of room for upgrading power. You just never know how far you might want to push the envelope, carton, box, planet or what ever can contain your passion for getty up go. You can read about our build here at http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=2107 or at http://www.organicracing.com Cheers and good luck 7evin

Good point on the high mount with a remote. Much better reception especially for the rear. If you high mount it with the remote I would put it in an enclosed plastic box. That way officer friendly doesn't see it. You could label the box with some kind of cool acronym like F.L.I.R (Forward Looking infra-Red) That would raise some eye browse.... Cheers 7evin -
Awesome,,,, Great looking car ENJOY ! Cheers 7evin

We have been talking with some people in north carolina about just that. Business is slow for them, so Mark Davia (5 time winner of the OLA) and us are talking about splitting a day in the tunnel. I was considering a full roll cage with a wing on top..... But I'm thinking that money might be better invested in a ejection seat..... How is that beautiful black beast of yours doing? Cheers 7evin

I hear that rather often... along with your crazy, you've lost your mind, what the hell are you thinking, you may need to seek help for theses issues, you are completely insane to drive that thing.... The list goes on.... I was OK for a very long time, had this issue under control .... until my dear friend Loren introduced me to these cars.... Of course he does not discouage this type of behavior..... IE.. Hey loren what do you think about putting JATO assit rockets on mojito for more straight away speed.... (Loren) " Man Kev that is a great idea, we can mount them at a 15 degree angle and also get more down force" Ahh... You only live once might as well have a good 7 at it.... Cheers 7evin
