  1. Mojito's new power plant arrived today fresh from Master Speed Blaster Kenny Tran ! (JOTECH) Via UPS / Hilly Billy back woods express. (I live in the middle of nowhere and The UPS truck can't get here from there... ) See attached pic Her new heart beat is strokin it with new Golden Eagle Godzilla sleeves, O-ringed Block, 9.5- 1 compression ratio, Arias pistons that are Ceramic top coated and moly side skirts and Pauter rods. Kenny builds these motors for the drag strip to handle 800 hp at the crank. We are shooting for somewhere around 22 to 24 psi out of the super charger and hoping we get 550 to 600 to the wheels. Like any of that will be usable below 100 mph.... Previously we were running about 12 to 13 psi making 387 hp at the wheels. Had the Diff Cryoed and REM polished. Lets hope that will be enough to keep it together. Cheers 7evin
  2. Dam Roman... You really wanted quieter exhaust...... Looks good though... I'm tired just thinking about it... Cheers K
  3. Thanks Martin. If you have Q's PM me and I give you my ph# Cheers 7evin
  4. I think the award for uniqueness defiantly belongs to you.... What a trick Trailer.... I'm sure it is probably light enough that you could tow it with your 7. WestTex built one of a similar design a couple of years ago. standard Q ..... what does it weigh? Cheers 7evin
  5. That is a very sweet trailer. I really like the way your fenders on your trailer match the front fenders of your car. What does the trailer weigh? Cheers 7evin
  6. Roman, did you notice the reflection on the nose of your car has a 7 in it. Pretty cool Cheers 7evin
  7. Martin, Its kind of that whole Red pill, Blue pill issue I don't know how familiar you are with Constitutional law, but this issue involves international treaties, commercial law and common law. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Driving_Permit Convention on International Road Traffic Convention, with Annexes and Protocol, dated at Geneva September 19, 1949; ratification advised by the Senate of the United States of America August 9, 1950; ratified by the President of the United States of America August 17, 1950; ratification of the United States of America deposited with the United Nations August 30, 1950; proclaimed by the President of the United States of America April 16, 1952; entered into force March 26, 1952. BY PROCLAMATION OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA Now, the rabbit hole goes way deeper than it appears to from the surface.... But I will leave this issue for private disscussion between you and I off the forums. If you haven't seen it yet and you would like to take a peek and have the ability to measure reality with an open mind, Put on your 5 point harness and check out Zeitgeist the Movie. http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/ Warning..... This will not make you sleep better at night..... ( if anyone wants a free copy of the DVD I have about 20 or so ) Now on to the mechanical side of things... The hitching system I use is made by Pull-Rite The PullRite eliminates sway and operates like an upside-down 5th wheel, pulling your trailer from a point immediately behind the axle housing when the equalizing bars are fit into the ball mount, the side-to-side movement is locked out, so the trailer can no longer pivot on the ball. I don't have any pics here with me in Costa Rica, but when I get back next week I'll attach a few to this post. You can go to http://www.pullrite.com/pullrite_works.htm and see pics and a video. Its a pretty slick system. Cheers 7evin
  8. Hey Martin, It has advantages and disadvantages. Surprisingly it is not as hard to tow as you might think... You just have to remember that you have another trailer behind the trailer behind you when you are weaving in and out of traffic.... Lane changing at night is the most challenging. I just turn on the signal and keep the hammer down until they flash their lights to let me over... My wife will drive it during the day, but is reluctant to drive it at night. The challenge is always remembering to only pull into areas you can pull out of.... backing is a bit of a challenge. I have done it, but only for about 60 to 70 feet. This can not be done on 2 ball mounts. It can be done 5th wheel then ball mount. My Excursion tows in 5th wheel configuration. As far as the legality of it, I have driven it from Georgia to Maine to Washington and all over California for 2 years and have never been pulled over. That being said there are other factors involved that allow me to do this legally. My rig falls under a differant set of laws then most people and I don't travel with the same documents (IE drivers Lic.) as most. I hope this answers your Q. Cheers 7evin
  9. Gotta love those F-350's A solid towing machine. You will go up hill without overheating and down hill w/o overspeeding...... for 100s of 1000s of miles.... Good choice. You can't go wrong there Dave, efficient, quick and self contained and plenty of spares... I think you could haul a parking lot full of Sevens.... I love those F650's I really want one. is yours made in Augusta Ga. I have been to their shop several times.... Just trying to convince myself to let go of that kind of cash.... I really like their version of the Excursion Wow that is so cool, truely 7 style... Unique.. I would love to see that thing in person.... I agree with you on the surge brakes.... very little to fail. A 10 cent fuse is not going to cost you your life... smart move.. Was it difficult to install that system? As for us we have several modes of transporting depending who all is going and what all we are going to do along the way. High speed low drag mode: In this mode we are more like Dave. We have all the tools and supply's that are necessary. No fluffy stuff. Spare parts and 50 extra gallons of fuel that we can transfer to the car without stopping. Giving us a range of 700 to 1200 miles depending how we drive and what fuel we burn. http://www.usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=443&stc=1&d=1243995350 1. Sleeping compartment/ food storage/ high speed dinning room/ luggage storage. 2. Tools/spare parts storage / deep cycle battery/ inverter (for laptop pwr in car) / 50 gal fuel tank 3. Spare tire rack/ bicycle rack / tent storage. 4 Signaling device... This is used to inform the driver.... You can't take it anymore and need to be let out of the coffin 5. Air intake / exhaust port.... can be used several ways... to blow fresh air in your face. velocity is driver dependent... Can be used to remove fowl gasses from tight quarters. Loren claims that it can be used to remove waste liquids also.... Humm no wonder I could never get it to deliver FRESH AIR.... Never was quite FRESH for me...... 6. 50 gallon fuel tank mounted just behind axle 7. Mojo's front tires from 07.... we go through lots of rear tires but the fronts we can't wear out Next we have the "I'm not riding all the way to California and back in that dam car ... Kevin" Mode: High speed (when she is driving) plenty of Drag.. get you there in 34 hours or less. 7.3 L Turbo Diesel Excursion, upgraded everything from the intake to the tail pipe.... running 28 lbs of boost and propane / 10,000 lbs / 96 mph in the 1/4. / hope I can get this thing stopped tow vehicle.... Custom Trailer from Gator... http://www.usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=444&stc=1&d=1243995350 Then there is the can I haul every thing I own and all 5 kids and every thing they have/ hope I don't have to backup too far Mode: This has been known to tip the scales at close to 30,000 lbs..... with Race car and supplies, 5 dirt Bikes and supplies, and trade show booth and supplies..... 70+ feet in length, 7 axles, 20 brake shoes, 8 brake pads..... and a big ass air horn to let anyone that decides to cut me off know what train is about to that them to heaven..... in this configuration it takes all 500+ hp and every bit of the 1100 ft lbs of torque to make it through Colorado... Capacities: Truck: 17 quarts of oil, 6 gals propane, 44 gals of bio-Diesel Big Trailer: 35 gals gasoline, 22 gals Propane, 57 gals Bio-Diesel transferable on the fly to the truck Car Trailer: usually about 35 gals of ethanol. Crater left behind if you can't get stopped.... ? 10. What was I thinking....... Ahhh ...I wasn't....

  15. Welcome to the Fam.... Your going to love that car.... They are so much to drive. The honda repair manual is a big help for toque specs for your drivetrain. I picked mine up through an on line honda parts dealer. Cheers 7evin
  16. WOW..... What a project.... And I thought I had no room under our hood.... U da Man Roman u da man.... You might want to reroute that oil line just underneat the waste gate rod. It might get to hot where it is located. Awesome project.. Are you going to ceramic coat that header to keep the heat in it? Cheers 7evin
  17. I could have gone the rest of my life and not even known that existed.....
  18. Well,,,,, Damb.... That's fast !!! I guess we are going to have to start working on a AWD 7... Because you are not pulling that off with a 1500 lb RWD car. At least not for less than $50k Cheers 7evin
  19. A simple and effective way to do this, is to determine your overall wheel and tire diameter. lets say 20". Buy a piece of 1/4 inch aluminum, drill a small hole in the middle, for your center reference and draw a 20" circle around it (then cut it out). Layout your bolt pattern (centered of course) drill it. Now bolt it on and measure away. This will allow you to move your suspension through it full travel and take measurements though the entire range. This may seem a little overkill, but it sure beats spending a butt load of money on wheels that do not fit like you want them to. I have been very satisfied with the strength and performance of the Team dynamic wheels I embezzled from WestTex..... Price was on the money also... http://www.usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=231&stc=1&d=1240971780 Cheers 7evin
  20. Hey Roman, Those are some sweet looking wheels. I like the way they fit the fenders. Cheers 7evin
  21. Good Job, I like it. If all goes well I am going to get rid of the oil pan all together and go dry sump. If I wasnt I would be doing exactly what you are doing. Cheers 7evin
  22. Wow she is coming together nicely. :hurray: :hurray: The head lites give it a very sleek look. Keep up the good work. Cheers 7evin
  23. Hey Guys, I don't have a locost but would love to come yours. I won't be available for the 28th either. But some other day possibly. Are any of you guys going to be attending the LOG29? Cheers 7evin
  24. Just a thought, You might want to slide a piece of 1/4 steel plate between the aluminum gas tank and what you are die grinding, just incase you slip things don't go boom. :ack: Cheers 7evin
