Kirk, Yes that was the last session and yes I lowered the tire pressure 19 front and 22 rear. 15 was just too scary from me. of course Johns car only weighs about 1200 lbs. We really enjoyed your company and we would love to have dinner with you. Andrew, That Morgan was the fastest car there.... If you noticed once I was in front of him I drove much harder. I really did not want him to blow by me and make me look silly. The mohawk was my wifes idea, I think it is so she can keep track of me.. Can't hide to well with that thing on. Cheers 7evin

Wow, thanks for the high compliment Al.. That is very kind of you. UTCC is a great reality check... There are some great cars and incredible drivers. They make you feel as if you are driving with the brakes on. Gary, WCM test program, Thanks for all the good Qs. As far as inspections go, we crawl from front to rear checking every nut bolt screw and rivets and now welds. This in its self can take hours and lots of locktite. Mojo went 2 years without any failures like this, Mojito incorporated some new designs and upgrades for strength. Of course Mojito has much more grip. I have not found a way to stress relieve the welds in the location that they are in. Bob was correct in that the weld did not fail. We have beefed up the area where it is welded to and spread the load out over an 8 inch area. this should not happen again. (thanks Bob) John Stokes 7, That car is awesome... and he can DRIVE!! I was so disappointed when his drive shaft failed. I was sure hoping I could follow him around the track and see his lines.... If I could keep up that is. I am sure you will see his car with some wings on it in the near future. We had a long discussion about the impact the wings make. I invited him to come join USA 7s.
