  1. Where are the forum frenchies when you need them? Busa can probably help, but he's probably awestruck by the V8 chainsaw video I showed him earlier
  2. heh, should've know this was too good to be true - running on cut slicks isn't exactly the production configuration: source: http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=17066 maybe the C6Z's 7:42 on runcraps is a decent time
  3. Little Johnny's neighbors had a baby. Unfortunately the baby, was born without ears. When the mother and new baby came home from the hospital, Johnny's family was invited over to see the baby. Before they left their house, Little Johnny's dad had a talk with him and explained that the baby had no ears. His dad also told him that if he so much as mentioned anything about the baby's missing ears or even said the word "ears" he would get the spanking of his life when they came back home. Little Johnny told his dad he understood completely. When Johnny looked in the crib he said," What a beautiful baby." The mother said, "Why, thank you, Little Johnny." Johnny said, "He has beautiful little feet and beautiful little hands, cute little nose and really beautiful eyes. Can he see?" "Yes, the mother replied, "we are so thankful. The doctor said he will have 20/20 vision " "That's great," said little Johnny, "cuz he'd be shyt-outta-luck if he needed glasses."
  4. I was always convinced that it was fake, although I thought for sure part of the fakeness involved speeding things up... There is one part in particular where it sounds like the Ferrari is FLYING, yet it's passing a car to its right at may be 30MPH faster.
  5. heh, that's what it took to get the first head/cam package in.
  6. Speaking of "Real V8's", last night I ran into this... LS2 block, stroked, AFR 205 heads (I'm running these heads now), cam, headers... That's 525 RWHP, 500 ft.lbs, and bolts right in... that's another 140 hp more, with 0 extra pounds. probably about a $4K investment for me... heh... "investment". I doubt Gail would consider it an "investment" http://www.jgtuning.com/results/dyno.jpg

  12. From the first time I saw this - probably 7 or 8 years ago - I thought that is the proper place for the car to end up.
  13. not bad... 160lbs for the engine. I wonder if that includes any accessories like alternator, or exhaust manifold / header.
  14. I sat in Doug's 11. Sweet car. But man, your S1 looks REALLY NICE. That'd be a tough call.

  18. ... who are extremely talented with mechanical things, design, construction, etc... In fact, many of our members here fall in that category. However, this guy isn't one of them. :leaving:
  19. This will be a heck of a drive, but I'm game for it. I would take a month off to drive there. I figure If I drive from here, and place a few cones along I-70, boxologist will mow them down and beat me there
  20. I had seen this many years ago, but it must've been the hardest file to locate on the internet. The original site that hosted it doesn't have it anymore, and the copy I had saved was on a PC that crashed. Thanks to YouTube, here it is... Enjoy!
  21. Process of elimination: wasn't me

2nd Kitcat's remarks. I have a friend / former employee who will be heading to Iraq for his 3rd tour as an Army reservist. It really is a great sacrifice and commitment to our country and freedom :flag:
