  1. you guys are crazy - in a good way. definitely a lot of memorable posts in your adventures.
  2. oh man, glad you're ok. could've been a lot worse. about the car - man, i know how it feels when you're looking at it in a heap after the fact . Take a straight edge to the top and bottom frame members for an initial inspection. That looks like a pretty hard hit on the front left. In my case the frame was slightly deformed... like less than 1" deflection between the dash bulkhead and front of the engine. First event of the season - man...
  3. people keep saying that about Croc. After a while we'll all have to accept it as truth
  4. well, welcome to VA - can't help you with a carb shop... hopefully someone will chime in.
  5. the whole thing with Lotus ownership and F1 team name seems like a cluster :/

    Congrats Terry!
  7. That'd make for an awesome day! Thanks for sharing
  8. No complaints here either. Bottom line is you have to be able to do something that is unique, or tied to local economy by its nature - otherwise competing with other countries while maintaining the salary gap is unsustainable.
  9. Man, that makes for an awesome day! Waaay cool
  10. I just saw a GSXR 1000 and a Busa motor side by side last week. One of my friends is swapping from a GSXR 1000 to a Busa motor in his Radical SR3. a lot of the intake / exhaust parts fit, but man, the busa motor is much bigger
  11. hmmm... cycle fenders for the rear would fix that
  12. Actually this lady was not on a phone. Both hands on the wheel, mindlessly "driving"
  13. Don't be so sure... Here's a vid from my commute home the other day. I doubt she'll see you
  14. Skip, yeah, looks like my nose cone just mounts on the sides by the headlights
  15. not much progress to report lately. I bought a smithy granite 1324 last week, and have to get garage ready to get it in here. The only thing on the car is mounting the radiator and the last motor mount. If I get motivated enough to put a floor on, I might tow it out to WV and drive it up and down the road in front of my brother's property - just to get a feel for the car.
  16. Thanks. That's the way my Rotus was too. Just wanted to do it the same way as Cat does it.
  17. How is it mounted to the frame? When I got my car it came with a nose cone, but no brackets or fasteners of any kind on the nose cone, and nothing on the chassis. The nose cone does have two tiny holes right above each other on each side, just behind where the mounting bracket for the headlights would go through. If you have a pic, post it up...
  18. Yeah, we put up with him ;-p

    Congrats!
  20. LOL. Poor Bessie. You'll be one fine Seven when done
  21. Tom, since i don't have a floor yet, I'm sitting on a piece of wood on top of the frame, so I should drop a little more than an inch. I'll also be more laid down when it's all said and done. So much to do still...
  22. Way back in the day when I had a CNG conversion shop, we bought wiring looms, wires and weatherpack connectors from WayTek
  23. I had Toyo R888 305's on the back of Frankn7, and couldn't get enough traction to climb the 1" lip to enter my garage due to a little bit of ice.
