  3. Good stuff Gert! Can't wait to see the final product. Looks like your camera pivot worked pretty well.
  4. Absolutely... there is 75 acres for you to choose from
  5. Try this
  6. Try this :nonod:
  7. Added forecast links to the first post on this thread.
  8. Dermot, how do they let you get on with no roll bar? or do you have one that you can bolt on... BTW, I started to work on fixing the play in my steering. I was all set to pull the rack when I saw that there was a loose allen head bolt that locked 2 pieces of my steering shaft together. There was no danger - nowhere for the shafts to go, but with that bolt loose, there was alot of play. There is still a TINY amount of play in the rack itself, but I can live with that.
  9. Bob, are you saying you'll be driving your seven there and back the whole way? That'd be great.
  10. the classic / antique tag is such a relief... I have historic tags in maryland, and don't have to deal with any inspection BS. BTW, EVERYTHING i've heard about the Stalkers has been positive
  11. Agreed with WestTexas... your trap speed seems low for your ET. Stock C5 Z06 vettes normally run in the 114-116 range with 12.4 - 126 ET.
  12. Guys, I was talking to my brother tonight, and he recommended after we take a brake when we get there, to go for a miniblat on the Highland Scenic Highway. I will work on an exact schedule of meeting points, leaving from the DC suburbs, hopefully picking up Steve T and Al Navarro (I know it's a stretch) somewhere along the way, and meeting with Bob D in the mountains. I hope to have that out by next Tuesday. BTW, I didn't get much feedback on choice of dining... Kabobs by the campfire OK with everyone? One more detail, and Arya may have mentioned this... we should have enclosed overnight parking for 3 sevens up there.
  13. It's all good  One good thing I can say about having a lazy old V8 is that, at 90, i'm just cruizing along at 2000 RPM in 6th. just need headsets for windnoise on extended drives.
  14. Z rated rubber bushings
  15. I'm not sure if they had much engine trouble, but the rear end was driving them :willy: for One Lap. I think that has alot to do with just getting the car together right before the event. Come to think of it, a Procharger just might fit in my engine compartment [open browser, type www.ebay.com... ]

  18. ding ding ding, we have a winner
  19. Any traffic related incidents will be handled through your normal car insurance. Club insurance kicks in if you damage a facility in use as part of the event, or if there is a suit against event participants / organizers because of the event. There is a 7 Meg attachment I can send if you are interested. I have already sent it to Brent I believe.
  20. :nonod: Damn camera was full
  21. I need to get off my behind and modify the forum software to add the list of national events attended to the left... so, Ed's would read: Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Member Joined: 1/19/2006 Posts: 134 Location: Sammamish, WA PNW 2005 Veteran 7/7/7 Veteran PNW 2007 Veteran Thoughts?
  22. Guys, this event looked fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to share all the pics, and glad you all made it back with no major problems.
  23. Did I already say how much I LOVE this car? Pictures do not do it justice.
