  1. You should definitely consider a ride in all the popular sevens before purchasing. If nothing else, who wouldn't want a free ride in a seven? More than just the performance, you want to make sure the car is roomy enough in all dimensions.
  2. Um, don't get Parker (cheap chinese). I use one as a door stop. :leaving:
  3. sure does look like a 30's ford delux http://www.wheelsngears.com/html/1936_ford.html http://wheelsngears.com/assets/images/deluxe_ford_V-8_for_1936_full_frame_length_x-members_hi_res_scan.jpg

  9. nice. lol
  10. No idea. I just know with ATT and Sprint you have to do that once in a while. With a tower within a mile of your house, you should have very good signal strength.*It should be a key combo, probably have to call verizon
  11. Gary you may have to update tour carrier settings on the phone so it becomes aware of the new tower
  12. Arya got one a couple of weeks ago. He is pretty happy with it, but that's all I know
  13. Merry Christmas to the 7 family! No Seven parts this year Christmas will be dominated by RC plane stuff (just starting out - like I need another hobby)

  15. in this context, IMO safe means the setup is well within its capabilities in acceleration, maintaining its speed on highway hills with general traffic, and handling emergency breaking. It is "safer" when you can maintain 70MPH when going uphill, than to slow down to 50MPH because your rig can't maintain speed going up the hill, and traffic has to slow down and move around you.
  16. well, I towed my Yukon (failed axle) with Arya's Duramax on a flatbed trailer. I knew it was a nice setup, but man, it does REALLY well. Between the Yukon and the open steel 16' trailer, I was towing about 8000 lbs. NO problem AT ALL on the hills on I-70, and the 6 speed Allison was great, especially with auto downshifts in tow mode. Even more convinced that'll be my next truck.
  17. I have a long list of cars I'd love to buy for that kind of dough, seven is not one of them. Yikes!
  18. I'm all for open Bars! What are we havin'?
  19. We live in a cul-de-sac. Everyone is pretty friendly, except this one neighbor who never comes to any picnics, doesn't really talk to anybody, etc... This guy has a snow blower. The few times when there has been enough snow for it to matter, he brings out, blows out his driveway, puts it back in, as everyone else is shoveling snow. No biggie - his blower, his choice. We got about 20" yesterday. I noticed he is shoveling his driveway by himself. Went over and asked him what happened to his snow blower. Doesn't start... pulled the plug, it looked fine, but no spark. Oh well, if it was another neighbor, I might have called around and tried to find a coil, or magneto, or whatever. Gotta admit, shoveling looks good on him. Still ran the 4X4 from the circle to his driveway a few times to open a little path for him. :nopity:
  20. congrats on nearing the end of this long journey
  21. I think his problems is the hooter girls won't get out of the car. Hey Hank, did you hide all the golf clubs around the house?
