  1. I thought that road looked familiar. I used to live in Tujunga in the early '90s. Ran that canyon many times with my Kawasaki and Miata.
  2. Welcome aboard Dave. Your car looks great. Its a shame the instructor put it into the fence. I don't suppose he covered the repairs. Nothing wrong with a little patina on the car, better than having a garage queen you can't/won't drive.
  3. That number makes it look like the speedometer is locked in the calibration process. This link will take you to the Caerbont website's calibration page. Write down the number before you do anything else as it is probably the calibration number for your car. If not then you will have to start from scratch and do the math. http://www.caigauge.com/page28.html

  5. I have the FIA bar on my SV. I'm 5'8" so I don't have the problem you have, my head is safely below the top bar. I do have to remove the headrest when wearing a helmet as the headrest pushes my head forward and down, a very uncomfortable position for driving. Caterham makes an adjustable helmet stop that clamps to the cross bars on the FIA bar. It does not come with padding so you have to do that yourself or outsource it.
  6. http://fun.mivzakon.co.il/video/General/2344/2344.html There is an excellent Thai restaurant in Boulder, CO themed on these elephants and their artwork. Most of it is far more detailed and colorful than the one in this video.
  7. Between the US car magazine reviews, YouTube videos and Top Gear UK there is a lot more awareness of Se7ens than in the past. I wonder if Caterham USA has a car scheduled for a Top Gear USA segment.
  8. Anyone know of a similar center stalk mirror in chrome? Perhaps with side mirrors to match.
  9. ^^^Heated socks. Or remove the pedal box cover and let the exhaust heat in on your feet.
  10. Welcome aboard. How about some pictures, specs or link to your build?
  11. http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2010/06/magnificent-motorcycles-part-1.html There is a link at the bottom for part 2.
  12. Hopefully 7 of 3 has been assimilated.

  14. Pictures or a link please.
  15. The first one I saw on the road was a gray one and I mis-read the nameplate as Elephant. They have been Honda Elephants in my mind ever since.

    Flying car

    0 - 60 mph in 3.9 seconds???
  17. You did cause me run down to shop to check the tires on the car which are on the correct way. Then I came back and looked to see if there was a picture posted with them on the wrong side. I'm guessing you are referring to the picture in post #7. That was taken during a winter refurbishing of the car and I had thrown on the wheels to move the car to the other side of the shop to bring in the wrecked Miata in the background to strip it. I didn't pay attention to which side they needed to be on as they were coming off again before the car hit the road. Actually, on dry roads it doesn't much matter which direction they are mounted. The directionality is for the water clearing function in the wet.
  18. It worked but it opened a new tab and made me log in again even though I am logged in already.
  19. On the news tonight they showed a former Playboy model (bunny?) in a wheel chair at the TSA checkpoint. She was wearing only a bra and panties and a fluffy white dog in her lap.. She stated that the pat down on a previous flight was so invasive she wanted to give them less to pat down.
  20. How many Se7ens can that ferry hold?
  21. Mike, I think that is actually the correct spot for an album. We're just not used to looking there. A reference to the album location would help a lot.
  22. I have the whiskers (winglets) and the CSR chin spoiler on my SV. Scary light front end moved from 110 mph to 135 mph. Well worth it to me. The chin spoiler is hard to see in the photo below but it made a nice place to mount my front license plate.
  23. Here's a direct link to his album. http://www.usa7s.com/vb/album.php?albumid=25
  24. Mike, I have the garage space, you have the money, let's share.
  25. The Star of David has 6 points, that one has 5. Perhaps it is the star the 3 wise men followed?
