Gary, Thanks for posting the manual, my printed one is not in color. Nice !

I second the "" Wow", glad you found the leak !

G2, If you look at the build manual that KESS posted today. You will see that the S1 has two fuel filters. The second one at the firewall is a WebCon filter. I don't think you have the WebCon setup, Give more info on the setup you are running, someone else on this site may well have the same thing, but there may be a second filter from the FI setup that you have in that area of the car. Is the factory fuel pump , in the trunk, going bad ????? Also, I thought I read in the description of your car on E-Bay that the gauges may not be working correctly, I hate to ask, but is it that simple that it is running low on fuel ?? I like Mazda's idea, then you will be able to see for your self. Let us know how you make out with a fix.

Loren, I was in Saint Patrick's Cathedral in NYC today, and I prayed for your family and mine. My Dad had cardiac arrest 9 days ago, and came home on Monday. I hope your Mom is doing better. Steve

" The deed is done", Thats great news. If # 17 is still riding on the Continental Sports that S1's came with, you will find that a better tire will transform your car into a rocket. Thats close to a spaceship !!!! Enjoy !

Kitcat, S1 and Birkins were not made in the same factory. The dealer in Ohio is were I bought my car from, Mike E was the real master of the S1 and all of the Superformance cars, and Noble cars. Mike is a great guy. They have sold off all the S1 stash of parts a few years ago I have a few. And Mike is gone. As for John, My car runs 50 times better after he tuned the Web-Con FI set-up that most S1 came with. He no longer does tuning as far as I know. Want to know about tuning and Zetec's, ask John. Come on Dr. John, help me out here. LOL

G2, Glad to help you out !! I would call Hayes at wirewheel and see if he can cough up some info. I f not , go take a look at it, If you are happy with it, let the smiles start. I posted a photo of my S1 dash. A few came with white face gauges, most are black face. The gauges in " YOUR " car , did not come from the factory. The S1 is a strong, well built, fun car, I think you will be very happy with one. Just for a heads-up, Superformance offices are in Cali. Oh, join the USA7's, only 20 bucks, and we can PM. All the best with # 17, Steve

G2, Get the body #, and we can see what dealer sold it and who was the first owner. From looking over the photo's on ebay, it looks to be all there. I wonder what happened to the gauges that it came with, and what else was changed under the dash. It has very low miles on it, so I would think it is not worn out. I put almost 14000 miles on mine and to is a 02. Drive it, take a GOOD HARD LOOK at it. Find out all of it's history. Find out who built it ????????? I always thought the S1 looked good in silver. Best of luck, Steve

After having owned 7 British cars, and a Winkleman Formula Ford, a March FA, for a short time. No cash to rebuild the blown BDA while in College. I wear this tee-shirt with pride, knowning that I still don't know a damm thing about a Lucas wiring harness, and were it goes, and what it works.

Hi Mazda, Three different body types, Cabriolet, speedster, nice ones are big $$$$ targa, very common. I have been looking at early long hood cars ,up to 1973. Most that are in my price range,20k, are rusty. I have two places that I like to explore. Pelican Parts.com, and the Porsche Early 911s Registry. And of course there is E-bay just to see what is out for sale. EVERYONE I have spoke with about buying a early 911, said one thing, Get a someone that really knows early 911's to go over it , before you buy it. Hope this can be of some help, Steve

List your projects for the winter modding season
S1Steve replied to slngsht's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Hats off to you guys doing big winter up-dates, I have no modding going on. I am happy the S1 ran great this year , so I'll give it a wash and wax, put the top on . I am itching to put a bigger hp engine in it, get rid of the Web-Con FI. But I need to do the planning and details alot better than before, and then there's the $$$$, do I really need more power. Maybe !!!!!!! -
Yup, Out last night to the last car show of the season for me, not to cold. This morning Betsy and I drove over to New Hope Pa., for breakfast . The local BMW bike guys meet there, and always have a good show of all things BMW. The weather was in the 50's when we left our house at 8:00 am, no top, she was alittle chilled, I like this kind of temp. There are still some great weeks to come. Tom , I am in for Thanksgiving morning's Blat !!!!! Steve
