I tried the baseball cap the other day and it blew off at 90mph. By the time I turned around in traffic 2 people ran over it. I wear my STIG helmet (white Simpson Bandit with blue shield) on high sun days so I don't get sun burned. If the sun isn't brutal and I ditch the helmet I wear a pair of safety glasses that are cupped almost like swimming goggles and they have an elastic strap as well. They aren't tinted though.
It's all about sponsors nowadays. I bet Subaru sponsored the show and a lot of the commercials. Maybe if Westfield or Caterham had sponsored the show it would have been a seven in the spotlight. Sucks, I know.
Did I mention I had to tell each and every one of the ladies at Hooters NOT to sit on the hood or ANY of the fenders? Thank god they asked before a catastrophe happened. Some of them were heavier than others *cough* (gravitationally challenged).
A little lower on all of the shots and we would have a time lapse view of your gas gauge. Beautiful contrast in the pictures with the red car and yellow stripe. Looks like you had fun!
I see you are using DNSExit right now. I haven't heard of them. I use ePerfect.net for my domains. If they don't work out (pricewise) for you I would try http://www.1and1.com maybe. Good luck!
I wholeheartedly agree: Keep top speed on the track. Acceleration is okay as long as the road is clear of traffic, pedestrians, cops, pets, wild animals, potential witnesses, etc. No top speed run yet as I've only run an autox so far.
No rain in Louisiana the last few days. Sometimes it's best to not trust the weather people. The only job in the world you can be wrong every single day of your career and still keep your job. No offense to any meteorologists here or nothin'.
To prepare for my newest work schedule, 6pm-7am, I decided to go hang out with the street racers last night in a parking lot alongside the interstate. I watched the races before calling it a night at 5am. I showed off a little getting on the interstate. After hitting the limiter in first while spinning the Falken's I shot a few fireballs out of the exhaust, I grabbed second, third, and fourth before shutting down at 100mph. She definitely rolls out much better with the low temperatures Louisiana had last night. It's also nice to know that I'm probably the fastest car in the parking lot.

Well, when I ran on Labor Day the SCCA had me run in B-Mod which is pretty much the highest class for a vehicle with my displacement. The A-Mod guy had a bigger engine.
That means the sky is the limit. Hell, I could have vacuum-assisted ground effects like the Chapparal 2J back in the day at Laguna Seca.
