  1. Congrats. Somebody got a steal. If I wasn't SV sized...
  2. Thanks everyone for the advice!
  3. No, it's for a hypothetical new/used Caterham. Exocet is longitudinal. It uses a Miata drivetrain.
  4. That makes sense. I know SCCA has a spec class for NC's that doesn't even allow a dry sump, on 200TW tires.
  5. I am looking at new and used Caterhams and just wondering how essential it is to get one with the dry sump for light track duty.
  6. Does the current Caterham 2.0l Duratec need a dry sump for HPDE? I would be running on 200TW tires, not slicks
  7. Is this the South Sac office? Those guys make up their own rules. It felt kinda like they were fishing for bribes.
  8. Beautiful car. Who did the powertrain assembly, and do you have paperwork for that transaction? (California things...)
  9. Well done! If you get tired of it, let me know. I am a tall dude and this thing might fit. Probably will have an MK RX-5 VTEC soon but who knows, maybe I need two Sevens lol.
  10. I'm optimistic that the odd placement was chosen because it offers some sort of advantage in ease of filling the tank.
  11. Is that your car? Beautiful. I am in the ordering process on an MK RX-5 VTEC. I will be having it assembled by MK USA. I am curious to know how your build and SB100 process are going. Look forward to doing these drives when the car is ready next Spring!
  12. P Is it a new car that hasn't been titled before? Who assembled it? Just curious as I am about to go through a similar process in Sacramento.
  13. Yeah I would have thought $30k would be enough. Be patient and you will get your car.
  14. I'm about that size and I fit in an SV, even without lowered floors.
