You mean like the one I started here? I was planning to separate to parts only once I had enough links. Your idea is where I was going from when I originally created the page. Given everything else I have going on, I just have not been trawling every post in this site to find suppliers. What would be good is if people want to add their favorite or well-regarded parts supplier recommendations then please just post them onto this thread and then either @JohnCh or I can add them to the article.

Birkin America is at Eagle CO - 5 hour road trip from SLC. Maybe what you want to do is invest the time to do a little road trip to CO. You will get into an SV. I test fit a gentleman into my old yellow SV - he was 6'6", 320pds and same size feet as you. You may need the regular leather seats - do not expect the Tillets to automatically work. Expect to change to racing boots to drive. Your biggest issue will likely be whether your head will be below the roll bar or windscreen. Lowered floors and a tall roll bar are the solution. That is correct. They do not. A lot just are happy doing their own thing. A number find their way here from having a tech issue of some kind and are seeking a solution. This is not something FB or IGram will readily solve. Then they fade off again once resolved. Its their choice. We have a defined segment in the se7ens community and people join if it matches what they want. @JohnCh and I have talked raising profile a lot over the years - witness our experiments with FB and IG. But what we have seen is the respondents on FB or IG are not really interested in our style of club. The only thing that seems to gain any traction on FB is the weekly summary of cars for sale and even then it annoys the hell out of a sizable proportion of the die-hard FB crowd as they cannot see it within FB and instead have to click through to the forum. They want it in FB space - I am not prepared to do that as it just doubles my work and encourages a fragmented community.

You may be surprised to learn that only about 25% of the se7ening community visit USA7s. I expect a similar proportion hang out in FacePlant to look at pretty pictures and swap political conspiracies and a third do their own thing. Each to their own. For all I know, the seller may be consciously trying to avoid you?

Not necessarily. We see beaten up Locosts go for that price range regularly. Car is ex-racing so I feel safe in assuming it is beaten up. Also check out seller and time stamps of his posts since 2009 - for a scam it is a very detailed profile for a single FB marketplace scam since you only get 1-2 scams in before you get booted by FB. You can also google the seller and match back to competition history. I can find photos of the car competing in OH. So it passes an initial sniff test to my mind. It is a shitty ad. No detail. Only 4 photos. One brief paragraph. Rubbish. Lots of questions remain on the item for sale. Price should be used as a guide to condition. Always ask to inspect in person - if it is never available then it is fake. Failure to do homework can mean you miss out on opportunities OR get scammed.

Keep in mind that your head/neck restraint might need you to remove the pads to work correctly, particularly as you have the wide belt harness. Not a problem for road obviously.

Caterham do not sell dated belts that comply with FIA/SFI. It stopped doing that quite a while ago.
