  1. Use a heat gun & be patient. iirc the #on the thread locked corresponds to the F release temp. But easier for you to double check. also: Did I mention patience ? to ensure the whole piece warms up… I once encountered a wheel spacer glued by the thread locker.
  2. I think Mike’s photos from NJMP & Seb on the grid would have been better.
  3. When trailering (open trailer) advice has always been to go ‘Au Natural’: vibration/wind movement of a tarp or cover will damage & rub paint & patina off the vehicle. first time in the rain was painful but I now accept it and more comfortable driving in the tow vehicle.
  4. Hearing & vision protection should always be worn. So if you like: pants are optional.
  5. If you’ve never seen one in the wild it’s definitely worth a tour around PNW As well as a trip to PDX. between adjusting pedal box & seat your height can be accommodated. The newer(current) Birkin chassis also comes in two sizes: ‘tight’ & ‘relaxed fit’ good luck with your hunt
  6. Are you sure you don’t want to hold onto them just in case you need spares to swap in…
  7. Thank goodness you’re safe. I believe Chris retired several years ago. what engine & particulars do you have? Might help folks in the know. i expect the cable is off the shelf. And worst case if you can find wiring diagram & build a new loom. some folks have used “painless wiring harness” though I suspect this solves a more Modern loom problem
  8. Food for thought: 1) Horizontal racequip oil filter adapter (or remote filter) 2) oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate 3) drain plug in bottom of radiator (cleaner than disconnecting hose to drain system) 4) CHMSL with turn indicator lights 5) aero-style (newton equip) gas filler cap - doesn’t leak, works great. 6) Tillett seat. 7) spray bed liner under wheel arches
  9. Thanks Croc. On the calendar for 2026 Hopefully 11 months is enough time for me to make sure tyres are in-date & replace my harness.
  10. Would there be any use in taking an(or multiple) wheels off the trailer if it isn't used on a regular basis?
  11. This is fantastic news. You should drive her home over Boxing Day weekend
  12. JB: I currently have the tall Birkin roll bar on my car if you want to test fit for size? caveat is Tillett driver seat with bespoke mounting bracket.
  13. Where in CT are you located? pm me: there are actually quite a few of us in the region & we try to coordinate driving. re: gear ratio - you could try talking to John @ quantum dynamics by the Oxford airport (if he’s still there). If you can’t get him by phone it’s worth driving by. ps: welcome to se7en ownership. Also It’s a good habit to go-over everything with a torque wrench as driving tends to loosen things up. And you’ll learn where you need to focus attention.
  14. Depending on the connector you can re-pin it. My Haltech ecu uses a Deutsch connector for O2 sensor. Sensor is standard Bosch unit. I replaced stock pins with a Deutsch connector.
