  1. I've read that LOG 33 will be in Connecticut. There have been LOGs at Watkins Glen, the last being LOG 19.
  2. I will be perturbed if we lose live coverage of qualifying and the races. Really don't care what happens to Speed, which has turned into a lot of crappy shows and NASCAR, NASCAR, NASCAR....
  3. Glad you had a great time. Next year for me, for sure!
  4. I have a 1985 long cockpit car, live axle car. If you wish, I can take some measurements of how the bar mounts for a comparison to your car?
  5. So, did one of us through a ride and drive bring a new member into the Seven clan?
  6. I too sent a PM!
  7. Where is diameter of the steering wheel measured? Assuming it's the OD, but please verify. Thanks!
  8. Was considering it, but I wouldn't take the Seven (450 miles from metro Detroit). It is a great event, located in a beautiful area.
  9. Keeping it down isn't the typical problem. A very funny video.
  10. I've been mulling this over for my 1985 long cockpit, live axle car, but it just doesn't look the same as what I have. Can you pont out the piece that covers the transmission tunnel? Thanks.
  11. I too have an Elise and a Seven. The Seven is incredible, else it wouldn't have been in my garage for 27 years. My Elise is faster than the Seven, but you cannot reach its limits in daily driving without going stupid fast. You can have a lot of fun at relatively low speeds in a Seven. I think as reasonably priced, new sports cars go, the Elise is about as close as you can come to a Seven.
  12. I see a lot of components that are the same as mine (1985 build). My serial number is 4417...

    Trinidad Seven

That is a different application for a Seven!
  14. Excellent getting her behind the wheel of the Seven! Neither of my daughters have expressed an interest in driving the seven. My youngest needs some manual transmission lessons in the Mini. I know my oldest recalls the time she had to push start me in the Seven!
  15. Watch out with some of these jokes ;-> We have engineers on board!! I do like the cup joke!
  16. Another benefit to a light car, easy to push!
  17. Great photos! Thanks for the post!
  18. Not much in common with my '85 Caterham! Is that a Volvo Engine?
  19. It's such a shame.
  20. The Pikes Peak event is a must see! An incredible assortment of vehicles driven by very gutsy drivers. You don't want to make a mistake there!
  21. Glad we don't need that crap! It's all real!!
  22. Wow, nice road! I started to get dizzy from all of the turns!
  23. The Seven folks are a hearty bunch! Who cares that it's cold!
  24. My Elise actually rides better than my MINI! I think the folks who complain about it are coming from Camrys or such. Wind buffeting is the primary inducer of fatigue in a Seven, whereas the Elise is a basically an enclosed cockpit.
