  1. What ohm range is your sender and what is the tank material (steel, aluminum, plastic, etc.)? Also, Moss Motors might be able to help: http://www.mossmotors.com/
  2. Dingo, Thanks for the compliments. I will certainly try and deliver on the data overlay.
  3. John, I'm rubbing my head wondering what you're asking, but I hear you loud and clear.
  4. Hehe!
  5. :ack:
  6. Here's a link with a few more photos of the Bogarts and Avons. Some of these photos will give a better idea of fitment: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=25146
  7. LOL!!! The Canadians would kill for those temps. :smilielol5:
  8. Steve, Did you find a new nick name for Croc; Wrong Way! :jester: . . . . .
  9. Bill, You might try Emerald, Haltech USA or Specialist Components: http://www.emeraldm3d.com/ http://www.haltech.com/contact/contact-us/ http://www.specialist-components.co.uk/engineering/ Also, you might shoot inis (forum name on this forum) a pm. I think he's pretty savvy on the Zetec stuff.
  10. Tony, While my car is a Stalker, I do have delrin bushings in my steering column. I lubricate mine with liquid graphite. Works great: http://www.agscompany.com/lubricants/homehardware/179
  11. Well, I honestly haven't given this topic too much thought as this thread was originally pertaining to Caterham sales . . . but . . . I do know there are also several Stalker owners who do not participate in any internet forums as well, or, are very limited as to which forum/s they use and as to how often they post. I, for instance, participate more on this forum than the dedicated Yahoo Stalker forum (or, any other forum) simply because this community is broader and I enjoy chatting with guys who own various makes and models. I enjoy reading and learning about Caterhams, Westfields, Birkins, etc. . . . . and, of course . . . . Storkers. :jester: . . . . . I honestly can't remember the last time I posted anything (or even read any posts) on the Yahoo Birkins forum, or any other for that matter.
  12. Mike, Thanks on the 1K posts! And absolutely :iagree: on ALL points. It's about enjoying the journey. In all truth, I get a real kick out of simply doing mods to the car if for no other reason than just the thrill and entertainment of it all. Take the Traqmate install for instance; I promise you I'll end up using it more for video overlay than anything else because of the gee wiz factor. I just want to enjoy my car and drive it as safely and as smoothly as possible. I too do not want to get hung up on watching the clock. For me, this is more about having fun than anything else. Now, if I end up a little quicker in the process of the journey, that's okay too. Well, that's 1,001! :hurray:
  13. A long-awaited drive in a car that brings a smile to your face.
  14. That's just way too cool . . . . . why does ya-ba-da-ba-do come to mind? :jester:
  15. Maybe another time . . . I'll keep whittling away at the clock.
  16. Loren, With no data logging to confirm . . . . yet . . . . and last year being my first year EVER to get behind to the wheel on a road course, the best my car did (this is a swag based on video review) is in the neighborhood of 1:22-1:23. I drove 1:23-ish and Lance Adams (instructor/friend) drove it 1:22-ish. I think I remember you telling me you turned a 1:19 at MSRC. I know it's last-minute, but I'll be there Saturday if you could make it over. Surely with my mods and your fancy fenders I can get my times down. :jester:
  17. Yessir! . . . . . . :iagree:
  18. Dave, First of all, thanks for posting a mature, straight-forward opinion that neither belittles nor demeans others and their choice of badge. IMO, best post (debate-wise) in this thread thus far. :hurray: While I do see, understand, and absolutely do respect your point of view (as well as that of others who have expressed their yeas and nays in this thread), I'll personally have to continue to pay homage and invite umbrage. Personally, I believe placing 'your' brand name on 'your' Westfield would be perfectly fine . . . . . as long as it isn't a name that's long and drawn out like Stradalli Salerno Shimano Ultegra or something else where the name weighs more than the nose of the car; not enough surface area for a handle like that. Now, on a slightly more important note (IMHO), we'll all need to see photos of the Westfield when it arrives.
  19. Well, I've established more theory than goal; theory being that, with my setup and current skill level (lacking . . . learning), the car (and I) should be quicker. Just how much quicker (if any) is to be determined. Changes, in addition to adding 55 hp and 65 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, have included putting the car, and myself, on a bit of a diet. The car has received a lighter weight flywheel, an aluminum drive shaft in lieu of steel, CF wings (replaced the aluminum wings) and, of course (when used), lighter wheels. The loose nut behind the wheel :willy_nilly: has lost 35 lbs since last summer. Having said that, I'm guessing that the car and I will hit the track weighing somewhere between a total of 50-60 lbs lighter (this includes use of the lighter weight wheels). I've also installed a Traqmate system to 'hopefully' aid me in identifying and correcting my weaknesses; however, Traqmate tech support ensured me it would nothing to curb my increased craving for a piece of coconut pie. This coming Saturday at Cresson, theory will be difficult to deterrmine at the beginning of the day as I'm starting off running with my old (last year's) smaller (slicker) slicks and heavier wheel combo; I think they might have one more track day left in them. My plan is to run one-two sessions later in the day with the new wheel/tire combo. If I have any defined goal for Cresson, it's simply to improve my driving. Now, if goal and theory meet on the track and shake hands, then that's a plus.
  20. :iagree: . . . . . .
  21. Good heavens, man! Have you no shame? :smilielol5:
  22. What the . . . . Sounds more like a Tron Light Cycle than an F1 car!
  23. . . . . . . . :jester:
  24. . . . . .
  25. I'm hoping so. :ack::driving:
