  3. Ex wife just had to have it in setelment. I found out years later that a week later she knocked the nose off and sold it for $150. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/mad5.gifhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/mad5.gifhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/mad5.gif
  4. Yeah but we wouldn't hold that against them. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/rofl.gif Way back I had a 63 FI split window.
  5. Simply put, that sucks.
  6. NOPE. I have some thoughts on a fix.
  7. The 99 to 04 GC has a bad history of warped front rotors. The next time mine cooks it will probably get Cobra PBRs.
  8. FWIW I have an 04 GC Overland with trailer package. Towing an about 3500 lb trailer with no trailer brakes from Miami FL to Blacksburg VA cooked and warped the front rotors and I'm very easy on the brakes.
  9. A plus with single axle is that the toll is less than 2 axle, sometimes quite a bit. The minis is that if a tire blows you have a bit more of a problem.
  10. My trailer is an old boat trailer with a 6.5x10 flatbed made of catwalk added. It has been very handy since the the entire bed is a tie down point. It will probably be a bit short for the 7 which will be taken care of by angle pockets for the tires being added. Total cost was $300.
  11. Didn't know that he was a Brit.
  12. Look at the latches on a Jeep TJ.
  13. Incredible but, alas, it dosn't fit the Locost theme.

  16. Or 500+ Too much hp is almost enough. I'm shooting for 4.6 lb/hp with Put-Put to be followed shortly after with Shagnasty at 2.8 lb/hp or slightly better.locostv82007-02-26 23:55:34

I've been looking for Brooklands screens for a while and these are nice. http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20070216_082312_aeroscreens007_.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20070216_082336_aeroscreens001_.jpglocostv82007-02-16 08:23:51
  19. This is a question that with the number of Caterhams etc I would think would be of general interest. Has anyone had parts shipped from UK to US?? If so how did you do it?? I found a pair of screens I would very much like to have that weigh approx 3 grams the postage would be 41 pounds. It's not that I'm cheap BUT this is supposed to be a Locost.locostv82007-02-16 00:13:11
  20. And why should he have all the fun? http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/wink5.gif I've never met a car yet that couldn't use another 50 - 100 hp. Skip Or 300 or 400. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/hurray.gif

  22. Never been to a Drag race. The Cobra at 105k still has the original everything including clutch and T5, but is on it's 6th set of tires. Building a blown 41 Willys PU but it has AWD. I would really like to see pics and info on this. The initial planning stages of the 7 I had thought about air suspension but had discounted it for now.locostv82007-02-09 21:16:55
