  1. I'm attempting to build one of each. The "better" choice is a mixture of Tbird, Cobra and MK VIII pieces which is an aluminum cased 8.8 with a wide range of gearsets available for cheap.
  2. Someone had way too much time on thier hands.
  3. Most of the DIY bed liner is just heavy-duty paint. Linex is a two part polly and can be sprayed on any thickness, in fairly thin coats it is quite lite. The thing I like is that it has a lifetime guarantee. Instead of spending most free time polishing you just use a pressure washer.
  4. http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/index.php Careful of making a contribution, demanding that the admin follow thru can get you banned.
  5. Me too, 1 mens watch.
  6. I plan on doing the tub inside and out with Linex, possibly making polished covers for show want to drive not polish.
  7. Thats a Wopper.
  8. Would a solar trickle charger solve this problem?

    Worn out

Mazda Hope he gets well soon. I had tonsils out at 2 from what I understand it is much worse as age progresses. Jim
  10. The side pods would probably not do much for aerodynamics but do seem to add some much needed crush space when mixing it up with tin-tops.
  11. The rear was changed at the same time.
  12. Kin ya ban kin???/
  13. I remember a discussion on C-C about the geometry of the rear unloading the front. IIRC the 4 link should never be paralell with the ground but should angle down toward the front.
  14. So what this says is that OZ has a warped Brit humor??
  15. :leaving: :leaving: :leaving:
  16. I started down this road initialy, have a TC that could be used as a donor, but with a little research found that the 351 with aluminum heads and many bolt ons would be within fa few pounds more power and should be more reliable. This is why I was adamant about marque inclusive in the formative days. I was spending quite a bit of time on the "Cobra" forums researching since I'm doing a "Cobra" minus the body. It becomes rather tiring sorting thru mine is an original , yours is a kit made by the original builder, your kit fits a VW, ETC. "I CAN SPEND MORE $$$ THAN YOU".
  17. The Cobra would make a good donor car. I'm building a FFR IRS car minus the body. I plan on using PS, Hydroboost and ABS (help eliminate flat spotted tires), and cruise for ticket avoidance.
  18. The only thing stopping me from buying it is the small matter of $44,750. I am sure I can whittle one up for much less.
  19. Heard this on the radio, must be said carefully. What is the difference between a lawyer and a chicken with it's head on the chopping block? The chicken clucks defiant.
  20. You might inform them that the nosecone is a deformable bumper same as most new cars.
  21. I was in Oaklahoma City working a contract with Hertz as part of a team helping them define how to run thier IT dept. Within a month IT consulting had gone into the dumps and I took that as a sign to retire.
  22. The intention is to apply the name to a pre manufactured rolling chassis set up for Ford Windsors.
  23. It's kinda like a boat, which is a hole in the water you throw $ into. The boat is still sitting in the driveway.
  24. how much do you have in frankin??
