  2. I thought that you had gotten some of the race Hoosiers that he had.

  11. Since mine is a scratch built I am going to use a tilt column.
  12. I got the same advice from my autox instructor. He said keep the same size all the way around, then use suspension to dial in the handling characteristics. Mine would look funny with 315 35 17s on the front.

  16. http://wrangler.rutgers.edu/gallery/d/39735-2/deman+irs+3.jpg This is a pic of a Deman 7 using a MN12 8.8. The 8.8 is stronger than the D44 used in the Vette and cheaper. The same diff if used in Terminator Cobras and with stronger half shafts has lived over 300 passes in a slick equipped 4,000 lb 900+ hp drag car. They are very easy of narrow or widen.locostv82007-01-20 23:36:00
  17. 14x7 bolt pattern 5 on 4.75 Real antique Minilites 0 miles. I bought these new over 30 years ago, mounted tires and put on my V8 Corvair, they didn't fit so were taken back off with 0 miles. The paint is poor but nothing wrong with them that stripper and new paint wouldn't fix. $500 plus the ride.

  19. It would seem that you will be doing enough fab and mods that you would be be better using an IRS. A good starting point for that would be the Rorty plans using either MK VIII or Mazda pieces for the mechanicals.
  20. Actually reading that line by itself does sound a bit cheeky.locostv82007-01-10 21:40:56
