  1. It bolted right up. No problems with alignment or having to grind, etc. My engine block had alignment dowel pins and those mated up perfectly. The only thing I recall having to do was use 2-3 different lengths of bolts - that was really a non-issue. http://i57.tinypic.com/flzuyc.jpg
  2. Most of the time I do not even use my mirrors - I just look over my shoulder. I suppose they are for looks and to keep me on the good side of the law.
  3. They're almost identical to the ones I bought from APR Performance.
  4. Inexperience and tire spin really slow me down. Starting in 2nd gear, the lack of traction is noticeable all the way down the track, especially when shifting. Drag radials are on tap for next year. Will probably go with 275/40-17s. At present, rears are Hankook RS3s 255/40-17.
  5. Back in 2003 while deployed in Baghdad, a Chevy Suburban ran one of our security checkpoints at high speed and hit an M1A1 main battle tank head on. It was going somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-60 mph. Needless to say the passengers of the Suburban did not walk away. The vehicle was only about 6 feet long after the impact. The paint on the tank sustained minor damage.
  6. Bandimere Speedway is only 5-mins from my place. There's something going on almost every day. The nearest road course is almost 90-miles away. If you are in the neighborhood, we can go out there too.
  7. Good choice - I like that you can put on longer stems.
  8. They're rock solid. I do not notice any vibration.
  9. I took my Storker out to Bandimere Speedway again. My first launch wasn't bad, but tire spin was noticeable all the way down the track - kinda scary. At least I didn't have too much wheel hop. I really need a pair of drag radials. The poor guy on the right busted an axle shaft on his Subaru. http://i60.tinypic.com/30bzps0.jpg http://youtu.be/5xqXmZNGq64
  10. I put a set of chrome billet Arlen Ness LED indicators up front. They are attached to a small piece of aluminum channel. They operate with parking light and blinker functions. They are very bright. http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=20753
  11. I made a new base for a Sector 111 micro mirror and mounted it on the dash. Side mirrors are APR Performance universal fit carbon fiber. IMO these, look awesome on any Seven. http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=23453 http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=23449 Both mirrors allow you to see everything you need to see.
  12. Before I drilled any holes or took any measurements, I covered the sides and top of the nosecone with blue painters tape. After that I placed one of the canards on the side of the nosecone and figured out a position that looked best - nothing scientific. After finding the optimal placement, I drilled holes in the canard and nosecone. I used a cloth tape measure to determine locations for the holes I would drill for mounting. After that, I replicated the hole locations on the other side of the nose cone. Before drilling holes, I mocked everything from the front to see how it looked with both canards on. Once satisfied, I drilled holes on the other side and mounted everything. http://i58.tinypic.com/2csf608.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/eulkqb.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/2l8vnyu.jpg http://i60.tinypic.com/29ymsux.jpg
  13. I installed a pair onto my old Birkin. I will post photos and comments when I get to my computer.
  14. I went with the 200mph speedo in my Storker. Kids love it.
  15. I you were to put in an ISIS Power system, you can get self-cancelling turn signals. This ISIS is not to be confused with the dicks in Iraq/Syria.
  16. Car Builder Solutions has several that are rather compact and suitable for our 7s... http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/indicator-switches
  17. I had to get a little creative to pass my inspection. That's all I'm gonna say.
  18. Looks super cool - Westfield does a great job with styling.
  19. +1 I went with a QuickTime steel bell housing for added protection.
  20. Hmmm...I'd rather spend my coins on a Polaris Slingshot...
