  1. Haven't tried it yet, but am hearing similar complaints from the Lotus Colorado group.
  2. Nice looking Birkin! Welcome to USA7s.
  3. With few regrets, I retired from the Army in 2008 after 23-years in order to spend more time with my children, then 7 & 8. Even though I was competitive for future promotions, great assignments and travel, I knew that I would not get a redo being a father.
  4. Congrats with the sale. I was interested in buying #46, but ended up buying a Birkin instead.
  5. shellyarkow - You may want to consider creating a new post with photos instead of resurrecting an old thread. Best wishes with your sale.
  6. You have a beautiful car Bruce. Good luck with the sale.
  7. Most law enforcement guys will not be dicks unless they are given a reason to be one.
  8. Thanks for the compliments everyone. Keith - my favorite Stalker belongs to HOTTTCAR.
  9. I like the work done on the transmission tunnel.
  10. Off to the Colorado State Patrol tomorrow to get a safety inspection and VIN assignment. Am I a little nervous, yes...the car sounds like a B-52 and it doesn't have a hand-brake. http://i41.tinypic.com/348hj4g.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/2b2nmb.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/155qnuv.jpg
  11. I love the car; it sure does have a lot of switches on the dash though.
  12. I nominate MHKflyer52's post for thread of the month.
  13. Should you decide to make another batch, I would like to buy one. Mike
  14. Pulled the hydraulic brake switch and discovered it appeared to be very well used. Figured that Brunton Auto put on a new one when they plumbed the brake lines. Go figure.
  15. Thanks for the compliments everyone. Everything seems to work fine electrically except for the mechanical brake light switch that's plumbed into my brake line. I'm sure with enough fiddling or a light tap with a small hammer, I'll get it to work.
  16. I'm guessing your hood should clear. You may have to remove the plastic cover on top of your intake if using an LS3. The box behind the throttle body is my braille battery and aluminum cover.
  17. A British company called Venta. http://www.ventauk.com. They are perfect for 7s.
  18. Just need to finish wiring up the tail lights, get some clear bra, install the windshield, then get a VIN and some plates... http://i42.tinypic.com/33vytyv.jpg http://i43.tinypic.com/2wlzzmx.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/ilkkn4.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/2zyv1gz.jpg
  19. Bonjo2's frame is taller than the one on my Stalker. I presume it is to raise the fiberglass bits high enough to fit the LS3 without a scoop. That is actually the chassis I wanted and asked for, but Brunton built the wrong setup. I am not sure how many different frame configurations they have, but know that they now offer several models. No updates on the wheel hop. I will probably tackle that after the engine is broken in.
