I would say toyota TC serie with a single weber downdraft... We had a 3TC with a similar set-up... it was good for about 95HP -

K20 & K24 rotate in the correct way, just like the F20C. 2 issues. The F20C transmission is not a direct bolt on and the height. I know a K20 is 3 inch taller than my 4AGE in my Locost. Yhea I'm planing a K20 swap for it, it will be dry sumped, but I'll still need a hump in my hood. I know that there was a caterham with a F20C saw it on the web somewhare and someone was adapting a K20 into a caterham, but I've never seen the finished product. Cheers, Fred

Ouch that sucks... Having repaired a Locost with the same kind of incident, you may want to check if any chassis tube waved. It's pretty incredible how far down the tube the damge can go... It our case the cube had bent by a lot for the first 10 inches, but there was a slight wave up to the fire wall... I dind't notice at first untill I put it on the table to start fixing it. Important thing is that your ok...Metal firberglass can be repaired or replace. Cheers, Fred

Nice build. keep us posted on your progress. I really dig these little engined cars for the street. Cheers, Fred -
Issues at home took a toll on it`s progress this year... but It should be on the track this summer finally... 5 years building is a long time. Its twin sister has been running good in the later part of last summer. I`ve already planned my next build, an Lotus Se7en S2 replica for the street... as soon as the Locost is done I`ll start it. Cheers, Fred
