  21. As you know .. the first step is to check the thermostat .. which you have done by boiling .. (I always got pissed off when a shop would charge a diagnostic fee when replacing a faulty thermostat.) FWIW .. I've had thermostats which would open mostly? when boiled .. but would still not perform properly in the car. Want to try it without the thermostat and see what happens? Do you even need it with a garage kept, seasonal car? Rob
  22. Finally finished all the custom wiring under the scuttle .. I added more webbing to the wiring nest .. and labeled many wires as I went .. Cleaned up some cables wires with long pieces of shrink wrapping. New windshield wiper delay circuit .. controlled with vintage Atari PONG potentiometer! New CHMSL circuit with two flashing modes. New Daytime Running Lights circuit. New self-cancelling turn signal circuit. there are six diodes to isolate various functions in the above circuits. Rewired the charging interface for the tricle charger. Added a switch to the handbrake. Modified the 1970's Toyota Hazard pull switch to work with the turn signal circuit. It is now a momentary contact pull switch! Modified the 1970's Toyota Windshield Wiper switch to work with the Lucas MGB wiper relay circuits. I simplified wiring to each of the Toyota switches with original wiring plug assemblies. Still worth mentioning: Old: Muth Signal Mirror Multifunction Circuit. That's a total of five custom circuits added to the car! Tomorrow I hope to reinstall the scuttle .. Muth motorcycle signal mirrors and windshield. Rob Rob
