  1. I think you might find a properly ratioed & uprated BGH 5-speed to be a better box in a 'Se7en'. http://www.bghgeartech.co.uk/html/5_speed.html tm
  2. Yeah, here are the pictures of the Westfield Electric racer at the Autosport show earlier this year. http://www.usa7s.com/vb/showpost.php?p=26793&postcount=8 Development work on the car has been ongoing, and there should be something public shortly. tom
  3. This thread is lame without pictures!
  4. Either that, or Colin was building the Mark 6 as far back as 1952 and Mechanix Illustrated copied him?
  5. What is the physical package size of the Renesis rotary with all the accessories, intake, etc.? From this 'Technical Highlights of the RENESIS Rotary Engine' it seems to be smaller than the RX7 engine (13B?): http://www.tomorrowstechnician.com/Content/Site301/SmartProducts/RotaryEnginesTe_00000001985.pdf tom
  6. I'll put on my dealer hat and note that there are a few Westfields fitted with the Honda S2000 engine and gearbox. It's just not a factory-supplied option, so you don't hear much about it. In fact, as of September 2009, there may be a preowned S2000-powered Westfield for sale here in the U.S. tom
  7. Well, yeah, if you want to get technical Morgan This car is owned by the former Argentinian Lotus licensee. tom
  8. I can't tell. Is this black, or dark BRG? Al, any comment? http://www.simplesevens.org/2366pics/236601.jpg
  9. There was one LHD S3 fitted with a twincam, but it was sent to Argentina (may have been the chassis only). That car now resides in California, and this ebay car is not *that* car. Here is a photo of the Twincam installation in that LHD S3
  10. Apparently in-lieu of a finders fee, you were happy to settle for some Wobbly Webs? That can only mean one thing... tm
  11. I think it's obvious. He bought a Camaro with his finders fee.

You have to know going in that all 'smart phones' have to be charged once a day. Once you understand that, it becomes less of an issue AT&T, Verizon and (perhaps) T-Mobile have good coverage over the majority of the country. That shouldn't be an issue anymore. The real problem is the data downloading and uploading. Your radio is on for MUCH longer than with just voice! tm

  14. I'm told the car is sold and it is going 'abroad'.
  15. Here are some Westfields for reference.
  16. Lowered floors are standard on all Westfields. Some discussions over on the WSCC forums: http://boardroom.wscc.co.uk/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=4;t=69376 tom
  17. This Japanese gentleman has a rotary installed in his Westfield. http://www.youtube.com/user/CarrozzeriaKawano
  18. Some photo's from Saturday's track session paddock.
  19. I do not know the weight. But with the V8, not so important? tm
  20. I am told the asking price is right at $20K, but that would need to be discussed with the owner. 21. I've just been made aware of a 2000 Westfield SEiGHT fitted with a Ford 302 V8 that the current owner finds 'too scary' to drive. I guess I can't blame him. He will be selling it, or will trade. Some pictures below. Anyone interested I can put you in touch with the seller (who is not really online). tm
  22. What those guys said. Enclosed transport is the *only* way to ship a car of any value. Generally speaking, $1 per mile is a good guess at the cost. If you pay less than that, the 'shipper' likely won't have insurance. tm
  23. Most of the physical tags (here in Dallas anyway) make the lights turn green, but it is the license plate which is queried in the database for appropriate charges. Perhaps your license plate is obscured (i.e., too low) for the cameras?
  24. You will note the description says "This car is inspired by Donkervoort". Not actually a Donk! And not actually close either! tm
  25. Here's a quick factory tour as part of an ITV Central news report from last Friday.
