  1. the wheel may, but probably not the 225 tyre.
  2. i would have to say then stay with the same size all around. u'll probably get better advice on the next CCC blat.
  3. Stan, how much power are u putting down? on my 7, with a stock zx-1 zetec, i have 5 of the same size tyres. thats at 150 crank hp. i understand why more powerful setups go to staggered sizes, as traction for the drive wheels can quickly overwhelm the traction needs of the steering wheels.
  4. skip the r160. if i ever get one of my subarus swapped (crosses finger for a return from 7-7-07 present) it will be with the STi's r180. there is also the mid 90s 300z TT 's r200 rear diff which is used to that mount of power.
  5. doubtful. its probably on the continent. My guess from the LHD, building style, topography, and swiss flag... I've seen the the Isle of Man and Isle of Wight videos. great stuff anyone who hasn't should check them out on youtube!Boxologist2007-01-17 11:11:37
  6. A wanker would say a bed of nails is comfortable. u'd be best served actually plantng ur keister in a bunch of seats to actualy see what fits and will be comfortable in a road rocket thank blndly followng what other people have bought.
  7. no. the duratec is the Ford "performance/ superior" block offered by caterham. The sigma is the economy block that is being phased into the micro, subcompact, and compact cars from ford in foreign markets. i'm not sure if its another mazda calaboration, though, it does appear that both are right hand side exits on all caterham models. i also wonder how similar the heads will be between the sigma and duratec. worth paying attention to the discussions on blatchat, but since i have my zetec, i focus more on those topics.
  8. in the print article it mentions thats its the replacement engine for the rover unit. So we have another review of Sigma. turning out to be a very nice unit.
  9. Who is interested in caravaning to Dragon the thursday before check in? I am leaning towards traveling I-78 ; I-81 ; I-40. maybe a stop off at GT Classics in Virginia if people need some parts!
  10. why i couldn't deal with one. though i bet u can get a different 6th gear and pull out a 4 or 5th gear.
  11. 1. ur vintage should be entirely imperial. 2. no clue 3. probably refered to as the Ital sizing for the PCD dimensions. 4. get it running and enjoy it.
  12. ^^^^^ are u talking about the six speed(caterham) or the 5 speed(sierra)? my 5 spd box doesn't have a drian hole, so hope to have one tapped into it for convienence. the caterham designed box is a huge improvement ('cept for the lack of an overdriven gear).
  13. i second that. great sense of humor too!
  14. Punch people in the face. words to live by. tho kicking people in the nutz is an action that gets results!

  20. a follow up to mike topic. What do u have in ypur se7en to make it more pleasurable on a blat, non track/closed road. i know Gert will have plenty of bells and whistles http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/wink5.gif , but anyone and anything who has modded their se7en towards convience. I hope to have 2 cyclops http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/ack2.gif brake lights, a cigarette lighter outlet, GPS, Valentine 1 and remote display, map pockets, maybe a few jill judd items by when the calendar says Spring.
  21. i expect to go to a set of 13" caterham 10 spokes and CR500 for the next set. i think those are r500 stock set and the 15 is the r300 set. 13" tyres are near impossible to source in the USA, so i will pony up and buy a full set from caterham.
  22. 31, picked up my SV last summer, and have wanted one since my early teens.
