Have you tried Beachman racing in Seattle or BirkinDirect in Eagle?  I suspect either can make one from Aluminum.

I have not. Too spoiled by Amazon and eBay buy it now buttons.

Might have to *gasp* actually call around

Have you seen the Raceline water rail: https://www.raceline.co.uk/products/part_section.asp?SectionID=54&CategoryID=4

It'd be more expensive and you would still have to get an upper radiator hose to fit, but I had one on my Birkin and it really cleaned up the engine compartment.

Thought about it. Not something I want to get into quite yet and add more variables to troubleshoot. Also most installation pictures don't seem to be using a heater when having the water rail. Not sure if it's compatible.

Heater, you have a heater…. Next you’ll be installing heated seats… 😂

Don't tempt me!

Heater is a life saver taking the car out in the later months of the year in NY.

I have driven mine in January in Massachusetts and not needed the heater. The footwell is nice and warm in winter and a furnace in 90 degree temperatures.

I appreciate the feedback but heater stays. It's one of my favorite features especially when compared to the bike.

Between S.O. wanting to stay warm and me being caught in some very cold temperatures with the aero screen only, heater is an essential feature for me.

If redline rail is not compatible, then it's a non option for me.

In meantime looks like I'm pending either piecing together 2 pieces to achieve the bend, or finding one big silicone hose that would replicate it, or even just a regular hose instead. Options still pending.

I used a Gerbing heated jacket, and the muffler on the drivers side to keep my hands warm, when driving in cold temps.  When I sold the Birkin, the new owner wanted the heater hooked up so I made an adapter to mount the heater valve to the Raceline water rail.  So, it can be done.

Just take off the top of your pedal box: heat from engine will blow you out of the car

Driven like that for the past year! (While troubleshooting the throttle issues, had the cable exposed) it gets toasty!

Still doesn't help support passenger and doesn't directly help with hand heat...

I have one you can have.  It has a little worn place on it where they rub on the belt tensioner, but its not through.  You can have just PM me your address if you want it.

On our race cars we just used a beaded piece of aluminum tubing and a hose off the rack at NAPA. IMG_1687.thumb.jpg.d2eeb4035e7159ac3cf2cb25187ecdc7.jpgIMG_1688.thumb.jpg.640814ef1308ad7fe474637e690c7e11.jpg
