Thank you. And it's not you guys at all, it's the 1978 &$&($&?&)&(@&/ user interface here. Long story short I oversaw a bunch of very smart teams in a secret govt software lab for a few years, and no matter what the actual product or goal was for that sprint my mandate always came back to "it's too many clicks". No joke. I post on IG so much you'd think I was a teenage girl, butt it's cause it's two clicks easy! I'll throw you guys some love. Hang on.

UglyFast Posted December 3, 2022 Author Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) Alright, she's here. She's not done and dusted yet. Couple tweaks that Caterham are helping me with. Meantime... I'll do a proper video cut of the unveiling and such in a week or so. I wanna put right out there over and over again how much love I have for the folks who built this thing. I'll try and do a video to show the paint. Hard to explain. It's not a Dodge charger with two tone wrap. It's fluid. The paint changes colors, based I don't know on the angle of the light, based on your viewing angle, based on the time of day and cloud cover. It's not color changing, it somehow makes it a shape shifter. I think it is just paint you can't explain. Or I can't. It's unreal. It's *surreal*. I'm so pleased with it. The dude who painted it is an artist. He knows I feel this way. Edited December 3, 2022 by UglyFast 1

panamericano Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 "I'll do a proper video cut of the unveiling and such in a week or so." So many delays, but ever the optimist. Great. You've got to do something about that driveway. You'll get the tires dirty!
JohnCh Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 My car's color is similar in how it changes color based on lighting conditions. I've yet to capture a photo that is close to reality. I can see why you call it Violently Violet, although Gaudy Grape is also accurate I sent you a PM about clicks to post. I think you may be unaware of some forum features and are taking the more scenic route. Cheers, John

I just can't look back. Makes my neck hurt. Also those aren't my driveways. That's shop lots. My driveway is paved and about a 20 percent grade, so winter will be fun!!
Croc Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Looks like you need to upgrade your phone too. Those are some low resolution photos. Every aspiring social effluencer needs to have a top of the range phone for candid selfies, unveiling Caterhams, and those special boudoir moments.... ...or have you just got all excited and cannot hold the phone still for a microsecond to take a photo? Love the color. I shall name it "Violet Beauregarde" You are going to 3M film the paint to protect it and keep it looking that good? 1 1
