jmardy Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) I've been looking for a Super7 for a while but being in California, it's even harder to find one, SB100 and all that. This popped up a couple of hours north of me. I talked to the builder who is a really great guy and a retired engineer. It's from Great British Sport Cars and features a 2001 Mazda Miata drive train. I was super impressed with the build quality and his attention to detail. A deal was quickly made. I can't wait to get it out for a proper drive. Edited July 7, 2023 by jmardy 3
JohnCh Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Congratulations! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after you've spent some time on proper roads. -John
jmardy Posted July 16, 2023 Author Posted July 16, 2023 10 days in and I'm having a great time getting to know the car. It needed new tires because of their age (and lack of stick) so I figured might was well put new wheels on too. Konig Heliogram 15x7 ET35 with Bridgestone RE71RS in 205/50. Rears fit nicely but fronts needed a 20mm spacer but now fit perfectly. 1
IamScotticus Posted July 16, 2023 Posted July 16, 2023 Can we get some pics of the back? Engine? Boot?

I would bet that Marlin made them as he did the side deflectors. It's just a simple piece of tinted/smoked lexan. Here are some older pics that the Marlin included. I'll take some more. I have a different steering wheel now and the red Sparco Sprints have been swapped for black. Edited July 18, 2023 by jmardy
jmardy Posted August 10, 2023 Author Posted August 10, 2023 A couple updates: Added Skunk2 intake manifold and a NACA duct to feed it some cool air: 1
fastg Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 Nice work, very similar to my setup, check you driving IAT. Mine is normally just a couple of degrees above ambient. If it still high build a airbox around the filter, There is a LOT of heat in a 7 engine bay. Graham
