A sequence of Paul at Turn 5

Has left Turn 4, car coming right to position for turn in at turn 5.  Suspension clearly loaded on driver side.

Hard on brakes.  Car at good position for turn in to left at turn 5.  Hands positioned ready.

Turn in initiated.  Suspesnion starting to load up on passenger side of car as he turns towards apex.

Just before the apex, working the steering

On the apex.  Perfectly normal to grab some curbing as it is quite grippy in the dry.  Stay off it in the wet as it becomes slick.

Starting to track out now.  Ignore cone - never in the right spot in my view.

Power is on.  Tracking out nicely to the right.  Heading towards turn 6.

Here is Des in Turn 5.  He has come out of turn 4, elected to hold very tight to the right (oops) and is ready early for turn 5.

Turning in to 5 now, aiming at the apex. Head is positioned correctly looking through the apex to track out point.

Now missing the apex and tracking out.  I'm in the follow position as part of the lead follow drill we were doing.

A sequence of turn 5 photos of myself playing tag with Des.

Exiting turn 4, aiming for a middle to slightly right positioning for turn 4

On the brakes now - looking left to the apex and through the corner.

Just past the apex.  An early apex is my preferred approach to this corner given the camber is more favorable.

And tracking out with power being applied.

I was fortunate to see an old friend today. And must now belatedly nominate @Vovchandr  for the ‘Polisher’ award this year.
The Bday award has already been delivered to @FasterThanVov

Ps. We still need to coordinate a blat before they salt the roads. Are there any good roads through the Catskills?

cheers
