MoPho,

Your rally images are really stunning! Some of them capture moments that go by so quickly that they seem almost imaginary. It's great to have your talent on board our list.

Looks like you have covered the Pikes Peak race -- what a spectacular event! I was a Devil's Playground at 13000 feet on July 4, 1988 when Vatanen and Kankkunen drove their 650 hp Peugeot 405 T16 Evolution rally cars to the summit through a snowstorm.

Yeah, I have been up to Pikes Peak four times, but I would have loved to see it when Ari and Juha were going at it, those cars were amazing. When I shot it, the cars were a bit more tame

I pretty much stopped shooting rally a few years ago after I was famously nearly killed

What happened to the co-driver? Travis walks away and no one else gets out of the car.

What was Travis carrying when he walked away from the car?

Glad you got away from it OK.

Both were fine. Co-Driver is Christian Edstrom, whom some of you may know him from the BAM SR27 article in 0-60 magazine ( I shot the Lotus story), just took his time getting out.

Travis is carrying the emergency triangles and an OK sign to warn the other teams that there is a wreck and that they are fine, it's part of the rules. Other teams are required to stop and make sure the team that crashed are alright if they don't see the "ok"

I got the pictures BTW :D

That probably didn't phase Travis.... that kid has got the biggest set of balls.

Did you see the double back flip on a dirt bike or the stunt where he jumps out of an airplane in just shorts, socks and a can of Red Bull for a commercial? Then a guy jumps after him and hooks up to a harness that's under his shorts..

Hi There.

Long time 7 watcher, then 7 year Birkin owner here.

26700k miles on my Birkin which I obtained in the fall of 2000.

I was inspired to seven ownership courtesy of the Matchbox mustard coloured Lotus Super Seven in my youth.

I have known quite a few seven owners/builders via the local SCCA, a couple of whom are well known in D and E Mod circles.

I also an E30M3 owner and will be acquiring an Elise.

All kidding aside, we do have a a few members with both a Seven & Elise in their garage....lucky devils.

How did you find us?
