the gate is a little steep so hard to get in cars with large front overhangs.

A pair of Race Ramps solves that problem.

I've got a nice rig for when I autocross far from home (we run one event right at the top of Maine and that's a long drive and very remote). The trailer is from Pro-Line in New Hampshire (different company from the other Pro-Line), a very nice all aluminum snowmobile trailer modified to my specs and perfect for a Seven. They only sell direct I think.

I only tow my Caterham to one British car show each year.  I have towed to two LOGs, the Grizzly Bear Blat, and a few other events.

Wow, this is pretty trick! Looks like the company is still around but not accepting orders at this time (as if that's the thing that's stopping me...)

I have a 360S coming soon, and I've just been down a trailer rabbit hole myself. After looking hard at several options I've decided that I'm going to hold off for now and live with the car for a season before I commit.  With that said, the trailer that I was most interested in was called Serpent Express.  I had multiple conversations with Blake, the owner, and I found him to be super helpful.  He offers fully customizable sizing (length, width and height) so I was considering either a very small trailer tailored to the Caterham, or a bigger outfit that would accommodate other sports cars for more versatility and resale value.  They are fully enclosed, and have the features of a dedicated car hauler including an escape door at the drivers door, perhaps more useful for cars that actually have doors, but it's there.  Pricing varies on sizing and options but very competitive with if not quite a bit less than other dedicated car haulers.

Anyway, I have zero affiliation with Serpent Express and have not pulled the trigger yet so I can't speak from an ownership experience, but thought I'd pass along what I learned in researching in case someone else finds it helpful.

It is hauling my 1966 Mini cooper B18 type R monster w/ AWD right now, but soon will be pulling a WCM Ultralite, fingers crossed. And I was able to fit my DF Goblin on there, but just barely.... Those suckers are bigger than they look in pictures.

It's been fun building the hauler to use with my mini... now it's gonna be even more fun times fitting it up with the ultralite!!
