rnr
Wow! Episode 2 was a genuinely good show - if it stays at this level or better I will definitely keep tuning in. I especially liked the photography on the Aston Martin segement.

Mondo
I thought it was a lot better than the first one as well... though I wonder how Aston Martin felt about their cars playing on the lake bed. That fine dust gets everywhere. That was some pretty deep snow that the Evo was plowing thru.

Mondo
I understand using the same format as the real Top Gear, but in doing so it seems to be a pale comparison. Can't blame them for trying but it's kind of like seeing "any movie 4"... hard to find that original spark. It would be better just to pay the real crew to come over and shoot half a dozen shows to add to their annual series and sale it all here. There take on America would be comical as well. twnpipe
The Myth Busters hosts would be much better at this job. Tanner and his buddy seem to be reading their funny lines and being funny. TG is about guys hanging out and kidding, demolishing, supporting by being non supportive each other- not reading lines. Perhaps the producers are going for the younger audience. But my sons are not watching TV they may watch something online with no commercials, and they have cars but no passion for them. To them cars are dishwashers and toasters. Which means they have money in the bank !
JohnCh
Based on the dog’s actions at the end of the last episode, I don’t think he was very impressed with the show either -John

BruceBowker
This is why the British version is so funny. Russ http://www.wimp.com/reliantrobin/ US humor would have a long way to go to come even remotely close to that!

Tanner is much better alone in "Supercar exposed" Tanner's "Battle of the Supercars" has real good car/driver competition, except I can't stand Paul Tracy and the other guy that look like sargent slaughter in the WWF wrestling. Tanner's "Top Gear America" show along with the two clowns equipped with a teleprompter.

rnr
Thank god for "The Car Show" with Adam Carolla. Really??? IMHO Top Gear USA is approximately 4.3 million times better that the Car Show. Doesnt mean that it is good but at least I don't have to put up with the forced obnoxiousness that Carolla calls humour.

If we could put Tanner Foust on The Car Show he could possibly tone down Carolla to a more manageable level. He would also be the best driver as the cast they have now doesn't have much experience other than Xbox or Playstation. Put some badass female driver with experience like Vicki Butler-Henderson or Sabine Schmitz. And ditch the black guy and the columnist in favor of Tim Allen maybe? 4 people is too much.
