MichaelD
Another with a Corvette doing about 140+ at the end of the straight hit a deer. He's OK. The car can be repaired. The deer can't. It's in three pieces. View here: It just shows that you have to watch out for everything on and off the road at all times. Do they have deer at NJMP? yellowss7
Just sent an email to Ian Prout at SCDA. We'll see if he can sort it out for us. Tom
blubarisax
I just called SCDA and asked them to try to get us all into HPDE Intermediate 1. They said they would do their best, but seemed positive.
blubarisax
Is there no tech form for SCDA?
yellowss7
It's usually in the sign in packet. They sometimes have the NJMP crew do tech. Tom

Croc
Sadly, one of my more energetic practical jokes for the track days sprung a leak during a road test on Sunday when Miss Daisy, "my" (in the loosest possible terms) inflatable sexy French maid took a stone kicked up by the tire and went down on me. :ack: Sadly, she is now a little deflated on the whole concept of sevening and will be unable to participate by being my passenger on this event. I was hoping to be able to claim, I have truly driven Miss Daisy. It will have to be another time. Assuming it had worked, I was planning to gift her to Karl as an airbag should he want to cuddle a tire wall again. As for carbon...think along the lines of headlights....differently to your ideas Edited June 19, 2012 by Croc
yellowss7
Don't tell me you had a pair of these "headlight" done in Carbon and put on your CSR?:jester:
Sean
...inflatable sexy French maid took a stone kicked up by the tire and went down on me. A curious choice of words. Reminds me of the auto-pilot scene from "Airplane!"

Kitcat
So, how do you determine what run group you are in? I went to SCDA's site for the event and looked at the schedule (Wow, 5 run groups!; one on-track session for intermediate 1 between 9:00 and 1:45!), but don't see who is assigned to what driving group. yellowss7
Mike, it was in my confirmation email from them.
Croc
Yes if you read the SCDA confirmation email it is in big bold letters. Have you read the other parts of the email? The bit about spinning for example?
Kitcat
Like I know where my confirmation e-mail is, Croc, you are such a kidder! I did e-mail Ian Prout at SCDA abt this and he just replied that all seveners have been moved to Intermediate one (probably for the protection on the other drivers:)).
