Marijuana for you

Recommended Posts

As much as I hate being double standard and hypocrite -- 1999 I bought a $500. marijuana stock (medical marijuana, yeah right) for no reason. The stock didn't move for many years and I left it forgot about it. I paid 7 cents a share and now exploding like a wildfire. Yep, I'm not high.

I keep reading states that legalized it and I'm so furious and ballistic. I'm thinking, what if million out there driving high and hit you or any of your family --- what is the court answer to this smokes?

Oh, I read today Obama trying to make it legal across the board.

Nope! i I didn't inhale it.

So where is your outrage towards alcohol?

You don't list your location, so I cannot be 100% sure, but I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that your area probably already has laws against driving under the influence of various intoxicants, pot included. So why the outrage?

I sure there is DUI law that covers it. On the other hand it's harder to prove. There isn't a Breathalyzer for weed that I'm aware of. It will be a cops opinion and a few visual signs but that is more subjective. I run into both types working on the fire dept. a drunk is much easier to spot than a stoner.

Your much more likely to run into the back of a stoned driver (going too slow)... never heard of a guy high on pot racing around town, running red lights etc...

Just stay away from all night fast food joints and you should be fine.

Colorado's governor signed Prop 64 into the state constitution today so now we have legal medical and recreational pot.

To celebrate in advance, two students brought pot laced brownies to a CU Boulder history class "bring food day". The prof and some others ended up in the hospital. None of them knew what was in the brownies. The two idiots are in jail with four felony charges each.

I am a highschool shop teacher, with your typical "shops" clientelle. I have yet to see weed ~improve~ anybody. I ~have~ seen lots of students ruin themselves by it.

And I smoked a lot of weed in high school and I turned out.... I am hungry

The same could be said of alcohol, actually alcohol is far worse

George Burns smoked a wack of cigars and still lived to be 100. Doesn't mean we all can do the same. I'm just saying - based on the clientelle I see everyday, nobody has "improved" with it.

And liquor took quite a few of my highschool buddies down back in the day, too.

Well for recreational use I don't think it is meant to improve anything other than ones mood http://www.websmileys.com/sm/sad/533.gif

My brother is a big time stoner. He has is own business. He usually opens at 1 in the afternoon because he is to lazy to get out of bed. And he wonders why he is struggling to get by. I am sure it doesn't effect everyone the same but I can sure tell my brother has been on a downhill slide for the last 15 years.

wEST--- Nasty stuff & sad...his brain said, I'm happy - very happy indeed.

Oh, I took my money out of Ameritrade yesterday and put it to 529 CHET for my grandchildren -- I felt very guilty - it's a blood money.

I did'nt know then when a friend harrassed me to buy some. I left it for many years knowing it's for lost and stock not moving...dead for many years.

After election, when they passed some of the mary jane law - things happened quickly. I'm sorry for that....one mistake i did in my life.

So I take it you are in favor of prohibition of alcohol too then?
