ace3 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 http://blipshift.com/ only available for 3 more days ... better hurry!
turboeric Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 What an interesting business model. Cool shirt too, although I wonder if the shirt will be much thinner than usual and fall to pieces as soon as I cross the finish line!
xcarguy Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Won't stay together for more than one wash.
HOTTTCAR Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Don't wash it. Then we will know when you are in the room.
Kitcat Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 (edited) To digress: The term "Simplicate and add lightness" is attributed to William Bushnell Stout (1880-1956), or to one of the engineers in his employment. Like Chapman, Stout also designed a lightweight car with aluminum panels, etc., (but in 1932). It was called the Scarab and 9 were built. So I think Colin C popularized the expression. And he certainly had more automotive success. PS: I ordered the shirt, BTW. Edited February 1, 2013 by Kitcat
MoBoost Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Got one! I'm really digging Blipshift! Like I don't already have enough t-shirts!
xcarguy Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Don't wash it. Then we will know when you are in the room. Ouch . . . I think I just got slammed by another Stalker owner. BTW, I really like what you've done with #11. Hope to see it at the Ambush this year.
snookwheel Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Got two! One for me and one for my co-driver wife!
coffee break Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I got the red one the last time. A shade similar to the clam shells, fenders and nose on my xflow.
Spaz Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 A fool and this money are easily parted, I just bought one.
pi7ot Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 BRG with Yellow sleeves... Holding out for this edition. m
sevenup Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 The one I received a few weeks ago was pretty thin...anybody ever order the hoodie?
SCH Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) I bought the original version in red and received it about a week ago. Unfortunately, I bought a medium when I should have bought a large. Oh well... I'm keeping it since I really like the design (the shirt material quality isn't the best though). I'm expecting my next blipshift order today - a large "Never Stop Ringing" hoodie. If it fits well and the quality is good, I'll definitely be ordering at least one large T-shirt and one large hoodie before the day is out. UPDATE: just received my large "Never Stop Ringing" hoodie from blipshift. Excellent quality item! Much higher quality than their T-shirts. So if anyone here is wondering if they should get the hoodie, don't hesitate. I'll be placing my order for both a T and hoodie in the next few minutes. Cheers! Edited February 2, 2013 by SCH
sevenup Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Thanks Michael, I will be ordering the hoodie today!
locost7018 Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 I just ordered 8 for myself and some fellow Locosters. Russ
HankMauel Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) Second the comment re: shirt quality. Have worn mine twice and already a small hole has developed...sort of like Colin removing tubes in the 7 frame until it folded...then putting the last tube back in! So, blipshift...up the shirt quality and you'll have a real winner on your hands. Edited February 6, 2013 by HankMauel

I was going to get one of each, just went with the T-shirt instead. I wonder of the cafepress caterham/seven designs are done on anything of decent quality.
