Guess Klassic lost his back button?

May 16-18, 2014 is the date listed on the Carlisle website.

Thanks Paul. Yeah, you're right, I missed the date when I went back to check..................speed reading 101 must have been a weak point. :grouphug:

Hi Mazda,

I would go back to Carlisle again. Last I was there was our last meet.

Good luck with the move and getting you 7 together... Whats up with Franken7 ???

Frankn7 is still tucked away in my trailer waiting for resurrection :( Maybe one year I'll have time to piece it back together. It's been 2 or 3 years now since I bought it from Mazda.

Mazda has been working on an R1 powered Caterham that he's been threatening to finish, but has yet to come through on that :jester:

I'll be there. I have two extra rooms, first come first served... I can host most Carlisle shows... I'm in New Cumberland, about 20 minutes away. I missed the import/kit show this year due rain, but hit the Corvette, Mopar, and Chevy show (lame... not like 15 years ago). We can do better.

I should have my Stalker back up soon--4 weeks--once I sort out the oil pump issue.

Anyone near New Cumberland want to go for a fun run? Or want to drive.. I'd love to drive a GTR or ZR1 or exotic..

My v8 stalker is nuts, but oil pump faulty--thanks GM, and had some issue with pin holes in header and some with fuel pressure, electric grounds, and fuel pump.. But. Very, very quick. 419 wheel BPH on current tune; with issues and car chemistry inserts.. I expect 430+ on next tune given the car chemisty inserts too restrictive and fuel pressure and MAF readings a bit inconsistent. I fixed fuel pressure with added filter, bigger rails, and better ground wire. Header in works, and new HP oil pump, better header in works Joy.

If you guys accept scratch builds I'd be interested. Not sure what you do there, but I finished up a bike engine locost this summer. Took it to Summit Point twice late summer and this fall. First outing was a howling success. Second outing broke a suspension weld and had to do a vehicle recall. Fixed now. Attached a pic before I put on street tires. Would get it there with a trailer.........not registered yet.

Now that Carlisle is just 3 months away, thought I'd revisit this thread to see if folks are still interested in making this a bigger USA7s event. I'm toying with flying out there if that's the case, but given my schedule, really need to lock things down over the next month. BTW looks like British Cars will be featured.

So who's in?

Thanks,

John

Well, I was also planning to cheat and trailer it to TN or KY and drive it the rest of the way. :driving: The trailer is a given because I'm building it in CA but the company I work for is moving to West TX and I plan to trailer it there for titling and registration.

As for my screen name, I normally commute on my Honda 599 and I'm a member of the 599 forum. So if you flip NVP66S upside down.... yeah, I know it's corny.

Now I gotta go work on it some more.

Dan

Not only was I unable to complete my car in just 3 months, but I missed my first-drive target date by considerably more than that :)

I'm following your build on WSCC and looking forward to seeing the car in May!
