xcarguy
They had me with the scoop and clams. But didn't Chapman say to add lightness . . . . . . Or was it 'hightness'?
powderbrake
Not easy to do with most sevens, but a Stalker with big wheels and clams would work. ( no 4 wheel drive)
DeanG
I've seen some pictures of this beaste before. Does anyone know where it hides or who owns it?
Off Road SHO
That looks like one of those hill climbers from Iceland or one from King of the Hammers.
xcarguy
Ran across the photo on the internet; can't remember where. I have an additional photo of the car with a female driver posing next to it. I'll post it after while; maybe someone will recognize her.
xcarguy
That looks like one of those hill climbers from Iceland or one from King of the Hammers. As far as I can determine, the car is out of Scandinavia and belongs to Janne Bronndal. Check this page; second car down (anybody speak Danish, Norwegian?): http://www.pirate4x4.no/trailreports/formula08/index.php This must be Janne:
DeanG
Thanks for the link xcarguy. It would be great to have the car (and the woman) at a 7 meet.
Toyotus 7
Cool. I've noticed the striking similarity in body shape between a Willys CJ2a tub and a seven tub before, enough to consider a ratrod Willys inspired by a seven, only to see that there a ton of Willys ratrods out there, but they don't ever appear to have picked up on that similarity and usually end up fenderless. I'd never considered going the other way and making a jeep-inspired seven. Very cool.
bigdog
Not much said about the car or her. One of the finest cars engineered by Janne Bronndal, car, Cartoon, is a replica of a Lotus Super 7 class is anyway more exciting than ever, with several new cars and many newcomers. xcarguy
Found these two examples at the following link; lots of unusual cars. Once your in, I think you can scan either way on the page and never reach the end: http://www.flickr.com/groups/weirdcars/pool/with/2080519339/lightbox/ I don't know about the balloon wrapped Seven, but as for the other photo, if Chapman had of been the founder of Morgan . . . well . . . :ack:
Tralfaz
Would you have any more photos of the wood car? I've been looking for several years for a picture of a seven that was part of a West System brand epoxy advertisement that looked a lot like this one. Thanks. subtlez28
Oddly enough, I was just thinking last night: Could I get some more wheel travel and rally a seven? 4 wheel drive would help put the V-8 power down in the dirt! I am inspired!
xcarguy
Would you have any more photos of the wood car? I've been looking for several years for a picture of a seven that was part of a West System brand epoxy advertisement that looked a lot like this one. Thanks. Tralfaz, Sorry, I have no other photos of this car; simply stumbled across it while looking at the cars on the Flicker link.
Hettric
Would you have any more photos of the wood car? I've been looking for several years for a picture of a seven that was part of a West System brand epoxy advertisement that looked a lot like this one. Thanks. I have one other picture of the "Woodie" 7 that I downloaded some time back, but I don't know how to upload it.
dhubbard422
Hettric, I'm still a newbie here, but there appears to be at least two ways to make pictures show up in a post. In the "Post Quick Reply" you only get the option to link to an image on the web, e.g. a photo sharing site. However, if you click the "Go Advanced" button, you'll get an option to upload from your computer (scroll down to see "Additional Options" and click the "Manage Attachments" button, then browse to the image on your computer and then click "Upload") Hope that helps.
