It's been for sale for quite a while (several month at least) so it's probably not priced properly. Also, I'm not a big expert on carburetors, but doesn't it look from the pictures that there are no air filtering elements on the intake? Croc Posted September 20, 2017 Author Share Posted September 20, 2017 (edited) I think it is within the range of a reasonable sale period - why? - rarer types of cars can take longer to find the right buyer - going back and keyword searching I count this as a month and a half up for sale - not too bad. - This has only been for sale on Craigslist in one region. So narrow marketing profile which is going to slow the ability to find a buyer. Maybe only 50% of the potential buyers filter through USA7s. - The pricing is within negotiation range. Past Pre-lits have been around this area allowing for condition variation. I think this car could fit a Bringatrailer sale profile as reading the comments of past Lotus 7s for sale shows a section of the market that are looking for cheaper authentic looking clones at a lower price point and without the hassle of authenticating original Lotus 7s (or paying the price premium). Even more amazing is that it was actually hard to find a mechanic (Glass Cars in Dallas) who knew how to work on them. Back in the day, every wrench knew them.
