m wirth Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Seems like a lot of us think alike. They are great workhorses, this isn't real quick since it is a diesel but it pulls great.
slngsht Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 buying it modded means someone else had all the fun. I want to paint it pink myself
scannon Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 buying it modded means someone else had all the fun. I want to paint it pink myself I'm looking forward to see that!
S1Steve Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Another 1000 lb vehicle in the household. this one is AWD And I give you 6 months before you stuff a LS3 in it. And " Yes" I would like to drive this also..... LOL...
slngsht Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 And I give you 6 months before you stuff a LS3 in it. And " Yes" I would like to drive this also..... LOL... Steve, the holy grail of modding these is Z1 Turbo snowmobile engine swap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDAQwdgB3Tg I'll be keeping mine stock - it can already go about 50 mph. plenty fast. Do need some suspension mods. I'm looking for some property relatively close to run it. Way more fun than crazy power.
yellowss7 Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Mazda, NJMP just received approval on a piece of land for an Off road park, for bikes and four wheelers. Just another reason to come on up and join us. :seeya: Tom
S1Steve Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Holy $hit.... That YouTube video is great.... Have fun with it..
slngsht Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 Steve, this is one of my favorites so far. LOL
S1Steve Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Steve, this is one of my favorites so far. LOL That's called getting 'Big Air" ... I can watch these vids for days.... I would take the sand box over the woods with one of these toys....
slngsht Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 If there were sandboxes here, then extra power would be nice.
xcarguy Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Here's ours; a Cub Cadet that goes by the name of Buster (christened by my children):
Off Road SHO Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 My wife and I have had Rhinos since 06. Our daughter has a company in Tucson that does R&D for Military "endeavors" and this is what they did to their Rhino. In this video it is only remote controlled, but later they made it autonomous; able to think and follow a preset program. You can see the video detection camera on the roof and a little antenna broadcasting what it sees back to the "operators" laptop. Mine still needs the giant nut that holds on the steering wheel. Tom
slngsht Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 very cool! I just installed EPS on it, and figured by just manipulating the torque sensor feedback, it's a pretty easy way to have hands off steering
xcarguy Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Our daughter has a company in Tucson that does R&D for Military "endeavors" and this is what they did to their Rhino . . . remote controlled . . . Tom That's pretty doggone cool! I think I could have some fun with that. :jester:
subtlez28 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Great minds tend to think alike! My toy before the 7 project was a 900XP. Crazy fast off road! http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g156/subtlez28/RZR%20900%20XP/IMG_0260.jpg But, my automotive ADD has me moving on.

WestTexasS2K Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I have been wanting a Polaris Razor S for a few years just not many places to ride in Texas since most land is privately owned. I found these a few years ago http://bpgwerks.com . They look like a good time and arent too expensive. I have not been able to get much response from them on when they are available in the US. They are waiting on EPA registration last I was told

You know how much I like fancy aluminum fenders. :jester:
