I'm itching.. just can't wait until next summer for some Caterham fun again. Would any one of you be interested in a one day track event at the end of August, September or in October somewhere in the NY / CT areas? I'm thinking of Lime rock, Thompson speedway, and maybe Montecillo (if we can find a way).. Any one interested or already with plans? Any other track suggestions? I can help coordinate if we are a few . ..

 

let me know. I may end up going on a track somewhere in September anyway.. the more the merrier..

Hi Sebastien, I'm sure Mike, Jeff and I could have our arms twisted to do a trackday/weekend. I'll check to see if we can bring a few of you guys back as guests for a member day in the fall. We won't have our own run group, but I'm sure you won't mind playing with the other members.

Any interest in trying another track closer to north Jersey, NY or CT? not sure where everyone is located and if there is any appeal since it is hard to beat NJMP especially with the membership welcome

I'd be in for another track day, but Lime Rock is on my ban list... the walls are just too close.

I think you may be too noisy for Lime Rock - I am and my car has the "quiet" silencer on it!

 

The closeness of the walls is just another good reason to avoid it.

 

I prefer the member day option.

Lots of members have been asking how my daughter is doing. Since coming off the picc line in early July, she's experienced excellent continued recovery with no course reversal. This was taken today; one picture is worth a thousand 'she's doing well's'.

Great to hear Shane! Looks like she'll be tough competition in next year's Karting challenge. We are definitely going to have to add some weight to her kart. :smilielol5:

Hold on....you mean it took me 5 days to get a video that clearly shows it was placed at a 45 degree angle to level on an orange Superformance S1 parked by itself in the pits not moving and only shows a flag fluttering in the pits and JeffS striding around looking stud like? :svengo:

 

Did you go to the Kitcat School of Using Your GoPro and forget to turn it on when driving?
