  1. It's a tragedy what happened on Friday. Those innocent kids lives cut short is a tragic situation for sure. I can't help but think of the other 1.2 million innocent kids that have their innocent lives cut short here in the USA every year. None of them die by a bullet fired by a crazy man. Instead they are volunteered up by a parent and have a educated doctor terminate their life. They get no presidential speeches or a decent burial. Yet it seems the ones that scream the most about how horrible guns are. Fight so vigoursly to keep the right to kill babies in the womb. There is a diminishing lack of respect for human life in this country and in 20 years it will be worse than now. I don't think banning guns will get you anywhere. Uk has very strict gun laws yet they still have murders.
  2. My brother is a big time stoner. He has is own business. He usually opens at 1 in the afternoon because he is to lazy to get out of bed. And he wonders why he is struggling to get by. I am sure it doesn't effect everyone the same but I can sure tell my brother has been on a downhill slide for the last 15 years.
  3. I sure there is DUI law that covers it. On the other hand it's harder to prove. There isn't a Breathalyzer for weed that I'm aware of. It will be a cops opinion and a few visual signs but that is more subjective. I run into both types working on the fire dept. a drunk is much easier to spot than a stoner.
  4. I have tried the Braille it didnt last 6 months it was a total piece of junk. I have had good luck with the PC625 it has worked great for years and is a reasonable price.
  5. I meant to comment on the tree house lights. My wife and son really dug the tornado design.
  6. 7evin is running 3:90s I think it's a good ratio for that kind of power.
  7. You should have asked. I have a few sets of brackets to mount the Rotrex where the AC compressor originally bolted on. It came out good and looks like a clean install. Is your IC mounted in the bottom? Is it Air/Air or water/air? You made good power for 11 psi. It really makes the car a whole new animal doesn't it. What rear gear ratio are you using?
  8. Its really crazy what those guys do. I wonder how many die each year?
  9. Your looks fantastic Busa. What do you think of the power delivery of the Rotrex? I think it's pretty linear. What boost levels are you running 9psi? The kraftwerks kit fits well on your car. Which intercooler are you running? What's your final power numbers?
  10. Are you running a dry sump?
  11. I watched that video he is a unusual but very talented individual. He is really tall. Did he fit in the Caterham? He looks 6'6".
  12. Looks like RNR car in the first few seconds of the videos.
  13. I just saw a jet black ZR1 tonight at the resteraunt. Ceramic brakes and all. I was a bit envyous of the old lady driving it.
  14. DP cars new model looks very similar. It's a mid engine layout as well. I think they are using GM ls v8 engines. The problem with mid engine lay outs is the transmission cost. Engines are reasonable a the Trans can be a deal breaker.
  15. BT that is a good looking car. You are right the best way to make a small fortune in this business is to start with a large one. It's a tough out there
  16. Lowering the road would be much cheaper.
  17. With all that carnage you would think the rental companies would pay to raise the bridge.
  18. I hadn't seen a bar like that one. I would think the passenger side would be more cramped.
  19. That is a 2.2L motor. It looks like a nice clean car. It bet the reserve is mid to high 20s.
  20. At Walmart in the auto section they sell a mesh lumbar support. It fits well in the Ultralite seat Or you can buy a pneumatic lumbar support from Scat and put it in the stock cover. We have also glued a firm foam to the aluminum shell for extra support. I also use a foam rubber cushion also available at Walmart that fits great in the seat bottom for long haul days.
  21. Bruce if you decide to sell the SSR wheels let me know.
  22. Yes that's my old car. I sold it to a local guy a z fan and retired marine. He bought-my car and then a month later he took a contract job back in Japan it was supposed to be for 1 year that was 5 years ago. He comes back once a year and drags it out of storage washes it put fresh fuel in and changes the oil and drives it for a few weeks then goes back. I think the RB is a great motor for a z. You can go from mild to wild with it nd it all Nissan.
  23. It doesnt look that far from being finished. Are you running RB26 motor? I would like to do one with an Chevy LS motor. I have done several v8 conversions on them but the LS motor would be great over the others because of lighter weight. Did you ever see my orange 280z with the 396/6 speed in it? It was a beautiful car. I had alot of hours in it. My 914 has the GT flares all around. Its has 911 suspension and brakes on all 4 corners. It has new floors and all the chassis stiffening plates installed. It is not a 6 the original six cars were 110hp. They were quick cars for the day. P car six cylinders are horribly expensive so that not an option because I have a 10k dollar budget for this car. My car will be running one of my favorite engines Honda S2000 F20c. It will weigh about 80 lbs different than stock 1.7l motor. I should be able to run the stock trans without fear of tearing it up. I will be changing the gear ratio around to fit the motor better. With this combo it will be a pretty quick car. Plus it should be able to get in the upper 20 range for gas mileage. It will have AC an some modern comfort items in it. This was purchased with the intention of being a father son project and his first car. Im worried it will be way to much car for a 16 year old. He will start in the wifes Civic Si and then move this car once he dimenstrates good decision making. I was once a 16 year old and I know what I would have done with a 2100 lb 240hp car. I would be pushing as hard as it would go.
  24. I miss my z as well. I've had thoughts of building another one but I have to finish the 914 first.
  25. Hey Jim that looks great to. There are several ways to build them. Yours allows the use of the tie down hook.
