  1. The 7 is a cheap thrill ride that rarely gets old. A modern sports car would be nice to fill the voids. A Cayman S, Elise, Evora or Corvette would be nice filler material. I'm not likely to ever own any of the newer cars but they would be my choice if I had a choice.
  2. I have used Uship.com for a few car transports. Its like an auction site you post what you need shipped and the location to and from and shippers bid on it. You can accept the bid you like and then arrange the shipping. They have both open and closed options. My last transaction was with Wayne 478-288-7778. He was very easy to deal with. He shipped my Porsche from GA to Tx for 800.00 in an enclosed trailer. Shippers have ratings like ebay so you can see what others have to say about the shipper.
  3. I think 7 day dreaming has more impact on work productivity than Facebook and eBay combined.
  4. I was told NT01s were the same compond as RA1s just different tread design. I really liked my NT01s. I was going to use RA1s but couldn't find them in the sizes I wanted.
  5. Not nuts at all. It will fit the bill. If you think the TR3 is fun you are going to be in for a treat. Sounds like there are a few in your area go see and ride in as many as you can.
  6. Stock Honda is 11:1 US spec and 11:7 in JDM spec. My new engine being built by Endyn will be 12:1 and will run on pump gas it will use stock cams. He said he builds them on a regular basis. It's probably pushing the envelope and it will definitely need to be tuned to be reliable.
  7. I know his anguish. My wife and I bought a new Civic Si we drove it 100 miles and stopped to fill it up. We went inside to use the restroom. We came out and the headlight was pushed in and fender was crunched the ass/;)$@$ drove off. I wished I had a camera to catch that guy.
  8. Did you see the twin engine Chevy 7 type thing.
  9. I have a dyno chart that shows a 2.2l na he had on the dyno the other day. It has ITB, idles at 800 rpm and cant tell it's not a stock engine. I can't get the chart to paste on my phone. When I get home to tomorrow I'll post it up. It made 350hp and a big fat torque curve. 180ftlbs at 2900rpm, basiclly 220ftlbs from 5300-8400 rpm. Larry gives a generous warranty with all his engines. If it brakes he fixes it for free including shipping. I think it's 3 years unlimited mileage. I'll see him on Monday and verify that.
  10. They are really strong and light weight. If I remember 15x10 are about 11 lbs.
  11. These folks make some nice wheels but a bit pricey. http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/
  12. http://www.theoldone.com. Really nice guy with some serious airflow management theories. Tried and true over 40 years exp. he really likes Hondas and can make them scream.
  13. Another option is to convert to 5x 4.5 bolt pattern. Your front hubs already have that pattern in them. You will need to drill the hats for the 5x4.5. For the rear some of the earlier stub axles have room to re-drill. The later Subarus have 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I'm unsure if the stub axles will fit. Call Mellinium auto they specialize in Subaru parts and most likely will know which year models to use http://y2kimports.com/ . I had researched this a few years ago but can't find my notes. I went with the complete sti setup instead. This will give you a bunch more wheel options.
  14. Mondo you may not need a supercharger if my new engine builder can deliver the results he claims. He has a very good pedigree so assume it will be a he says. He is building me a 2.2l that will run on pump gas. It's should be very reliable and make 325-350hp and about 220 ftlbs of torque. It has over 180 ftlbs from 3k rpm and up which 20 more than a stock engines peak torque makes.
  15. There are several Ultralites running Diamond wheels with the 12" wilwoods. They should clear fine. Order just one and try it. If it doesn't fit I will refund your cost of the wheel. Be sure to make a measurement of the hub center ring on the rear. We had a guy using to small of a bore and the brake rotor wasn't being pinched in place and he kept breaking g rotors he fixed the problem with the correct hub center size.
  16. That was a good buy for someone. What are going to use to tote the Ultralite?
  17. I really like those aluminum trailers. That is perfect for a seven. That's a fair price too.
  18. Man that needs to be a Chevy commercial.
  19. I'll take 20, 1 for me and the rest for my friends. As soon as my lotto check clears.
  20. What's the price tag on that beast?
  21. Sp300r you lucky dawg. That thing had to be amazing.
  22. WE nudge in a 2800lb car big nudge in a 1300 lb car. He is also talking supercharged motor.
  23. Ran them on my car. They worked great. They are not rain friendly obviously.
  24. Lower is better makes it less abrupt when it comes in.
